How many coins are required for POS?
Theoretically,any amount of coins can POS given enough time and luck but, realistically I think for this coin 100 coins to POS in a reasonable time. Note that, when blocks POS you get reward but, the theoretical 100 coin block splits into 2-50 coin blocks. Get familiar with Coin Control if you like POS coins. In the wallet, you would go to Settings-Options-Display and click coin control Then, on the Send tab you would see a button called Inputs. This is where you would see the piles of coins and how many are in each pile. You can then, select the piles you want to combine back to bigger piles and, send them to yourself. Hope this helps |

Correction Woody, its the POW that changes to balance everything. At block 20,000 the pow rewards change to 5. POS reward to stay the same. Vegas |
