Eth has a good design and solid community. i think the price can growth more than 10x in Five years.
that is quite optismistic. But I hope it is true. |

I think its potential is huge and still largely untapped at this stage. My guess would be >1000USD. Although another crypto-coin may come along and un-hitch Ethereum.

If it solves its current scaling problem and if the blockchain is not forked by the foundation to fix "badly" programmed contracts, than in 5 years , the coin will still exist.
Otherwise, it will see a slow death.
The show death is already occuring. ETH is like a 1990's mobile phone already. Devs are pack of wolves. Too much PR and non-delivery |

Now there is lot more thought about the future of ETH because already South Korea declared ETH as legal currency. So maybe other countries will also follow the South Korea.In future, the price of ETH is going to be more than 1000$ who know it will be more than that.

We all know that it has potential but I think it has already reached its peak. It will not die down though because a lot of ICO are still offering ETH as investment. And it will not overtake bitcoin as others have said a few months ago. The hype has died down already. And the peak price could reach around $5000. |

In 5 years, so in 2022, price will be for me at least 1500$ per ether, because Bitcoin price will be at least 15 000$ at that time. But I see Ethereum price quoted in bitcoins at least double until then, so at least 3000$ per ether. But that will probably be much more.

In terms of fiat my guess is $7500 for 2022!  But first they have to secure and improve their network. They say that the "Ethereum Machine" is much slower than a mobile phone, so I guess that will need to change first! Just imagine what will happen with thousands of smart contracts are being invoked on the network at the same time, who knows what will happen!? Nothing wrong with being positive and all of that, but that is simply too high, there is no way for Ethereum to reach that price, it will need to grow about 25 times its current price to get there and that is not going to happen, it is as simple as that, I think the rise in price is going to get slower now that is that high, similar to what happened to bitcoin. I think you will be deadly wrong. It will get higher than anybody could imagine Could you at least elaborate and not leave it at, you are wrong because I say so, at least I gave an argument about why this is not going to be the case, Ethereum is already very big, and when you are big it is difficult to become even bigger, especially when you have something on top of you avoiding your growth, which in this case is bitcoin. |

ETH could go up to $1,000+ easily. Perhaps closer to $5,000 depending on mainstream adoption. Of course this is all speculation.
very very interesting. Closer to $5K is just around the corner because in cryptoworld, prices and volume can easily be achieved if whales and whales moved to help that rise. |

I am also bearish about the future prospects of Ethereum. The ETH developers needs to be more open and clear about their currency, if they want the mainstream crypto users to trust Ethereum. IMO, ETH is either going to remain at the current levels, or going to drop to around $100 per coin by 2022.

Everything is possible, that would be as long as it manage to at least keep an acceptable level in terms of functionality such as the speed of confirmation of transactions and other things like that, another aspect that perhaps may influence to a certain extent might be the number of the ERC 20 Tokens that are in there. |

I don't know about 5 years but today it's dropped by more proportion than btc or ltc which are also in the red. ETH is down nearly 30% for the month.

I will not calculate with BTC because BTc also we need to speculate so it will vary but i belive Ethereum by next 5 years will reach 2000$ . There is lots of ICO's Happening based on ERC20 token.
