I think that ETH is by far the best choice and do not have to wait 5 years. Compared to Bitcoin, the etherium has a much faster transaction time and is much cheaper. Especially as ETH pays all operations of the token.

I don't really know if I still can HODL for a long time like that  Grin. But to answer the OP, my target price would not depend on my bitcoins target price after 5 years like others do. Well look at it, ethereum has come to big changes with just almost 4 years man. It's maybe because of the ICO thing that really boosted the price. Ethereum has really showed it's potential for coming years, and if they can improve more in their security the price would really boost 5-10 times for 5 years, or more. It's just really the hacking holding it and the supply is quite high.

being one of the best platform had been created i think ethereum can make a big difference compared to bitcoin and knowing that they have individual capability..today as time passes by more and more ico using ethereum as platforms for their tokens.so what more in 5 years time?maybe ethereum will finally move over bitcoin.

five years is a very long time and of course the ethereum will greatly change the price, could be going up very high. so the decisions are good if you want to buy the ethereum and invest for a long period of time until the next five years.

It all depends on what might happen in this coming years. Many factors that can affect the price of a particular coin. But, if things will go smoothly, it may have the price of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Let's hope for the best.

but before my order is completed, the price go higher

We can not now predict how the crypto currency will develop in 5 years. This is very difficult for the reason that the government of many countries can prohibit the crypto currency. This will be a big problem for the development of crypto. But if there is no ban the price of ETH may reach 10000 pretty soon.

It may be true that a lot of projects are dependent on ethereum. I'm just worried about how they will solve their scalability problems.
