I am willing to buy at 1000 Satoshis if anyone wants an exit. Valid for one week, afterwards I will probably make an offer at the 500 satoshi range
You have so much to say against this project yet trying to buy more coins on the cheap? seriously what's the deal with you dude??
You do realize that this is the very definition of a fudstar?

Whining is quite understandable but not at an exaggerated level which is simly a case of fud what i would happily see eradicated (and i'm sure not only me here). This helps nothing, damages a lot and we learnt this lesson already. No need to be silly and waste the time, greater stuff requires attention.

Now. Today we learnt few promissing details at slack. HEAT going to be opensourced has been confirmed again (what i hope won't come too fast, before that tech differenciating HEAT from other projects to be ready, working and gain own ground later open source what you want but not earlier, time advantage must be kept, there are other successfull closed project so no reason to whine about).

There's some stuff already close to be finished soon and it's not EUR gateway (what's i guess is priority while what's worth to remember few other tasks are created simultanously). That's really nice to hear.

But!
Quote
there is the somewhat hidden but still mayor update where HEAT can be EMBEDDED as a software lib in your own project. We've made the API extensible plus the database models

For me personally THIS ONE is the most interesting part especially looking at it in the context of comming microservices. I just can't wait to see it and try it out. So many possibilities with it. (like creating my own custom subenvironment of HEAT universe! Oh boy! So many ideas could see day light then. )

I know that EUR gateway (which will be Joint Venture with a private licensed e-money issuer company) with few layers system requires lots of work and i understand it's importance, still that great stuff with it's potential above is heating me up much more.

And the price? It's low, very low, unexpectedly low while accessible HEATs supply on AE isn't high so... I couldn't expect better conditions for new  people to join our community. But let's be honest it want last forever... Waves are always returning and many loosing their grip as always won't be ready when the really nice one will be comming.

And yeah since balance leasing is also being prepaired i think possibilities for small stake owners will soon also shine brighter.

Ok so now i can play some poker Wink HEAT Slack invites. Prost

When will other assets than HEAT and XEL be tradable on HEAT DEX? Would really the whole project.

And are payments processed manually or automatically?

Also BCH, IGNIS, FIMK have been available for a while as certified assets. More will be added in the coming weeks / months.

Quote
And are payments processed manually or automatically?
Withdrawals from company backed gateways are currently batched automatically and confirmed manually. This is designed so currently to improve security of user funds, while the mechanism of withdrawals involves decentralized asset transfer transactions in peer-to-peer network. This mechanism introduces the risk of asset transfers being rolled back in a case of blockchain reorganization. While this risk is small but unacceptable, it would incur direct loss of those BTC for instance already transferred out by automation.

There are other security related aspects involved in operating automated withdrawals. Taken the above unique issue of p2p "DEX" into account we currently remain better safe than sorry. So the reason for the solutions used is quite the contrary to some fud babble of incompetence in implementing automation. We're working to achieve fully automated withdrawals with quicker turnaround time on decentralized blockchain, this however involves heavy infrastructure mods and due to the workload around the scope, is still in progress.

Can the project be a dead one?
Please clarify your question. ALL projects are dead by some time frame, so certainly it can in the future. Now, however it isn't, as there are 4 people working full time and a few extras part time on it, constant releases, and an active Slack community Smiley

Oh heat goes up from 4k sat to 5k sat while all the real crypto goes down a bit. Heat seems like anticrypto, everytime real cryptocoins like btc and eth go up, heat goes down. Btc and eth go down, heat goes up. Proof heat is no real crypto?

Someone could indeed list that on Heatwallet, or on the HEAT decentralized network with their own skinned exchange website and get quite a few Bitcoins in gateway profits without too much effort.

C-CEX trading was disabled for a while due to their system automation. We've now been informed trading is again available, withdrawals working normally. All buy and sell orders were removed, otherwise business continues as usual.

Why not buy directly via the decentralized exchange they built? You can reach it via https://heatwallet.com/. But do not send too much BTC onto the exchange. Withdrawls are very expensive imho.

Don't trust any exchange!
