When trying to understand the future of Pandacoin, it is essential to remember that Panda is the Chuck Norris of cryptocurrencies.
It is not Panda that will need a roadmap for 2018. Twenty-eighteen itself will be completely lost without a Pandamap.

Now I understand. That makes complete sense.

No, but seriously, I'm not sure what the roadmap is myself. I'm new here. Btw, they have a slack channel that someone linked to on the previous page.
I'm surprised no one has answered your question yet... they're usually very quick to answer on here.

Strange it looks like you are missing openssl can you try brew install openssl at a command prompt for us? Thanks for your help Jommy99 - so this worked, I got Pandabank up and the application opened without error. BUT. I am not seeing my pandacoins... (yikes!) I'm not sure why it's not picking up the wallet.dat file that I have in there. I made a few copies of this file, so I'm not worried that the wallet (pre-install) is missing. The wallet.dat file shows 5.4 mb on my mac, so it shouldn't be empty. Anyone have suggestions on how to get the pandabank to see my coins and previous transactions? Thanks!!

Are you all synced up with our network? This can take awhile for a new PandaBank install, you should see a green check mark on the bottom right when you are fully synced with our blockchain. Is the address(s) you see the same as what you sent to ? As long as the blockchain shows your balance for that address you should be fine, you can check here https://chainz.cryptoid.info/pnd/

It IS syncing though, so maybe I just need to be patient. I used your link above, and see my wallet address is in fact the one I'm seeing in the panda bank, it's just zeros for now, and no transaction history. So,,,, just wait? Should I quit the bank app, add one of those long 'addnodes' to the pandacoin.conf file and re-start? Side question - I see on the block explorer, that It says I've received about twice as many coins as I have in the actual bank, not sure how is this possible? Thanks Jommy, much appreciated.

Thanks Jommy, much appreciated. Yes, just wait. Once the wallet is synced it will be up to date with the block explorer website. You should do "addnodes" manually if the wallet cannot automatically connect to the network. Connection status is visible in the lower right hand corner.

Thanks for the links! To me raising community awareness of PND is the first step. Get the word out and daily trading will become more active. There are so many other coins that are not developed at all and dont have nearly the features PND has, and yet are valued much higher. As for features I think ease of use and "friendliness" should remain the #1 point for PND, so wallet improvements, more supported wallet platforms, more exchanges, instructions, tutorials and so on would be the way to go.

Jommy, It would be great to share with the community what this project might be able to look forward to in 2018. The suggestions below: http://cryptodepot.org/voting-booth/Are great, but these need a bit of horsepower from committed devs to make progress in any of these areas with any frequency in order to get new members excited about future potential. I honestly feel PND could EASILY become as or more valuable as many coins that enjoy a position within the top 100 list on coinmarketcap, but pnd needs a big push initially to show there is fresh new commitment from a new team to bring enhancements and progress the technology, and or social presence. I mean, why is DOGE, and a hundred other coins so valuable, and yet there are literally no developments with these? PND's wallet alone is light years ahead of many of these already. Do we need to offer some type of bounty to attract committed devs? I remember there was a guy a long time ago that was willing, for a sufficient amount of PND as an incentive. I think there are at least a few members that given the choice of slow, or stagnant development would be willing to donate a few PND if it can serve to align the commitment from a few good people to construct and deliver on a new roadmap. What can the community do to help you, and or, to attract more committed devs to the team to build momentum? What can we do to incentivize new players to join the development team? Thanks so much for all you've done already. I know PND has great potential for a fresh emergence, but it will take effort. One or two people can only do so much. Best.
