Can't believe people are buying at 1 BTC for 1000 YAC.
CNC was going 1 BTC for 10,000 at start.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

what's your yacoin.conf like ? addnode=82.211.30.212 rpcuser=mirek rpcpassword=x rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rcpallowip=192.168.21.2 rpcport=8108 port=4321 daemon=1 server=1 gen=0 set port=7688 as for your minerd use the rcpport ... you are trying rpcallowip = 127.0.0.1 which your minerd is trying to connect so use that port

From Noyvpom's siggy: If your new altcoin started with low difficulty and is a copy of another coin with no revolutionary features, it has no purpose but to make a few people a bit richer.
It appears I'm one of those few people FOR ONCE.

I think the real hashpersec himself is not steady... Due to very low difficulty and variable workcharge...

Can anyone confirm that they have used CPUminer to get a confirmed block and is there a speed advantage to using it over the client?

I thought you had to use the client to mine.
