Can't believe people are buying at 1 BTC for 1000 YAC.

CNC was going 1 BTC for 10,000 at start.

Hype is a powerful thing

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Users\mm\Downloads\pooler-cpuminer-2.2.3-win32>minerd --algo=scrypt -
0.1:4321 --user=mirek --pass=x
13-05-08 13:29:00] 4 miner threads started, using 'scrypt' algorithm.
13-05-08 13:29:01] HTTP request failed: couldn't connect to host
13-05-08 13:29:01] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds

Can somebody help me to cofigure this

what's your yacoin.conf like ?

addnode=82.211.30.212
rpcuser=mirek
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rcpallowip=192.168.21.2
rpcport=8108
port=4321
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0

set port=7688

as for your minerd use the rcpport ...  you are trying rpcallowip = 127.0.0.1 which your minerd is trying to connect  so use that port Roll Eyes

I think the real hashpersec himself is not steady... Due to very low difficulty and variable workcharge...

Can anyone confirm that they have used CPUminer to get a confirmed block and is there a speed advantage to using it over the client?

Correct me if I'm wrong, I thought you couldn't mine this coin with minerd? I thought you had to use the client to mine.

Bitsinmyhead: exactly this I wanted to ask.

Shall we use cpuminer or the inbuild miner?

gen=1 if you want to mine..

and again don't user minerd, only yacoind or yacoin-qt.
