i do this question because i´ve read in this website issues with bitcoin, slow mining process, high fees, etc. and i´ve read too good reviews of some altcoins, ethereum (smart contracts), ripple (for transfers between banks), dash and nem. these altcoins called 2.0. could bitcoin become just in future virtual gold reserved to companies and rich people?

I don't think that ever bitcoin will be replace by any another cryptocurrency Because bitcoin is the first coin that entered in the field and I don't think that any coin even may be better than bitcoin will make better impact that what the bitcoin have in the cryptocurrency field .Here we have full trust with the bitcoin , And also we can understand well that the bitcoin entered in the internet world in 2008 , so how much time it take for the people to trust in the bitcoin more than what people have trust in another coin .
So here due to old age of the bitcoin people can't accept another coin at the place of the bitcoin .

Bitcoin can not be replaced by another cryptocurrency because Bitcoin is the best form of sound money that will ever be. Sound money can't be changed or tampered with and Bitcoin is just that and these other's are not like that.

No! I think it is not possible. I know that the bitcoin will be no.1 in the cryptocurrency. The bitcoin faced different challenges and all of it is surpassed by the bitcoin. I know that the bitcoin is a very strong cryptocurrency and there is no coin that can defeat bitcoin.

You can’t say it is not possible. Definitely like bitcoin have struggled and then it make up to such an incredible level of success, there may be other coins right now which are in initial developing stage or there may some other coin coming in future that will be more potential coin than bitcoin. But, it is not that easy. Bitcoin have made the world so tremendous and no one can it right that now.

You can't be so sure about that. We can't really tell what the future holds. In the world of cryptocurrencies, anything can change and it can change rapidly. A cryptocurrency replacing bitcoin in the future still has the possibility to happen. Maybe it can happen in the future or maybe not.

There are a lot of coins on the market now and there would be more coming. Yes, it could possibly be happening in the future because nothing is permanent in this world. Bitcoin is the pioneering, trusted and proven digital money that caught the heart of the people and it has the biggest community by now but we have to consider when the time comes where one specific coin could replace it and we all know that it's not that easy. We can't really tell when will be that happening because it is un predictable. Cryptocurrency is a community driven asset so it is up to them but for now Bitcoin is unstoppable it gives us hope and financial freedom that is why I love Bitcoin.

I don't really think that any other crypto could reach the level of  success and number of users such as bitcoin has or that any crypto can have a similar market cap , people are getting into bitcoin more and more each day and social media are becoming more talkative about it these days , which is unusual because they were insecure about talking of something that can turn out to a complete failure , yet bitcoin isn't gonna fail any time soon and i don't see any other crypto that could go toe to toe with him any soon , and if one of them will , it'll certainly be Eth .

Of course, the technology is always growing and if the bitcoin continues without consensus (miners x users) the network will not grown and will open space for other faster technologies like the UNIVERSA's project, which will have a better capacity to process payments than bitcoin, but thats only a example of the fast development of the blockchain technology.

The website issues, slow mining( it is known longer), high feew(very painfull as people say currently) etc. are main things which are saying that it is not really the best currency to use as a medium of payments. Solaris, ripple, nem, eth have also very good reviews. And as you think bitcoin can be use as a value storage in near future, and maybe BitcoinCash will be the number one? We will see.

I think it is possible because only miners have the power to manpower bitcoins all transactions. Not like other coins that has actually have the power to recreate their coin anytime. But even that bitcoin is also flexible but it cannot replace the fact that they have developers to have for.

There is a possibility that some cryptocurrency will replace bitcoin in the future because they are better than bitcoin in terms of their capabilities. They may surpass bitcoin and as a result, bitcoin can become worthless. But, no one knows what can happen in the future. Lets just wait and see.

Having it's big value is not totally the reason that it won't be replace by new coin but it could be the one to consider. We must accept the reality that not all things will stay forever, and it could be probably to happen with bitcoin anytime.
Yes bitcoin is soaring high today, but we can't really sure that it would stay like that for a long time and any possibilities that it will move aside and give room for other coins.

As bitcoins' popularity continues to grow, bitcoin was consistent to be on the top rank of all cryptocurrencies maybe because it was more trusted and tested by time.Investing in it is less risky than any other altcoins.But we cannot tell what might happen on the near future since more and more cryptocurrencies were launched and some also do well and shows potential so it could be possible that bitcoin will be taken placed by other cryptocurrencies but with lesser chance or probability.
