You just wrote exactly what I wanted to write. ETH and BTC were never in competition as a currency. They both have completely different features which make it stupid to compare them.In fact Ethereum is more decentralised mining wise than bitcoin, it is more programmable and it is more adaptable to changes.

Remember that the most valuable things are not always the best.the blockchain is congested because of either spam attacks or increasing users of bitcoin making the transactions per day increases significantly. If this continues maybe the ethereum will surpass bitcoin by terms of market capitalization

Many coins might be potential than bitcoin but to my understanding i fell bitcoin is the first crypto currency coin so there may be chances its rank never decreases but we need to think again because coin value is based on the demand and supply not only with the assumptions.

Given that I'm not an ethereum supporter, you should save that bullshit for someone else.At the end of the day its always going to be a matter of opinion whether ETH (or BTC) is in a bubble and only time can tell.

That may be true. But I do not believe Ethereum will last long. Sooner or later the price has to go down just because that's what the market is doing.The number of unconfirmed transactions might have decreased, but as the user-base expands, this issue can once again become active. And other crypto-currencies such as Ethereum and Ripple are making the maximum advantage out of this situation.

Many people think that bitcoin is dumpy, they think bitcoin is the strongest coin and it will always overwhelm all other coin, however, in fact, they are wrong, bitcoin gets stronger because It has many advantages over other currencies, the advantage of time has made it exist as a king.Don't forget that there are a lot of spikes and problems bitcoin passed before and it became strong up til' now. I think it is not true. Bitcoin will be no.1 cryptocurrency forever. There is no altcoins that can beat bitcoin, People will still continue to patronize bitcoin. Bitcoin will become international currency in the near future.
I think you are right, and I also believe that bitcoin can become an international currency, but not so fast, the development of bitcoin still receives a lot of restrictions. |

That might be true because the value of bitcoin is keep decreasing. If bitcoin is still losing value, ther are other digital currency that will beat bitcoin. And if that happen, bitcoin will be still famous. Because bitcoin is th foundation of all other digital currency.

The possibility of ether being the number one currency does exist, but I do not have any confidence it will happen. It is right that nowadays the price of ethereum is increasing with a faster speed but it is only because the investors like to invest their money in it to get the profit in the future while bitcoin has a stronger base because of the widely used all over the world so a time will come when the investors of ethereum will send the ethereum to get the profit but bitcoin will continue in use because of the people businesses in it

For me, Ethereum and all other altcoins still rely on the market and bitcoin prices. Therefore I do not agree that bitcoin will be replaced by other crypto currencies. At least in the near future bitcoin will last long using the first used and valuable crypto currency.

I only see Ethereum getting surpassed by another altcoin like EOS and not going up. EtherDelta is also one of the reasons why you won't want to use Ethereum because if it is then it is already number one. Bitcoin will remain no.1.

I thought for sure it would take until the end of 2018 but it looks like this summer ethereum might pass it up. With the turmoil around BTC potential splitting, it might be very soon. IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.
Well, even if ethereum is at number 2, it's still too far from bitcoin. Bitcoin is too far too be reached because a lot of people are trusting bitcoin. Bitcoin has gone through a lot and it still remained number 1 because a lot of people trust it. It will just keep growing as time goes by. People bought bitcoin not because they trusted him. Many of the investors have no idea about how it appears and how it functions. What confidence is there. They simply laid out their funds in bitcoin, as others quickly became enriched from buying bitcoin. If there is another crypto currency. which will yield the same profit, people will immediately "trust" her and forget about bitcoin. Therefore, for that. so that bitcoin has long remained the number one crypto currency, it needs to constantly improve and be really a leader in terms of convenience and cheapness of its use. Yeah it will reason the same till the end of this year bitcoin was not so famous in past but now bitcoin is popular so people are buying bitcoin and investing in it for the better future how can we say that bitcoin is not going to remain same if people are showing great interest for the bitcoin. Making bright future with bitcoin is the main thing, price was the issue and now again price of bitcoin is rising, transactions of bitcoin has become very fast once again. |

If you notice then there is a coin that continues to increase marketcap, the coin is ethereum, a year ago marketcap ethereum no more than 15% of bitcoin, but today marketcap has reached more than 60%, and if the increase of ethereum continues to happen then within 2 years will be defeat ethereum. |

Well up until now and even with the downward trend of Bitcoin, it is still the number one cryptocurrency. Bitcoin actually made way for all other digital currency there is and it is still the number one because it has already proven that it can rise above all the challenges and its technology is for the future.

Yes, I agree with your point. Bitcoin is made up of programming technology, a great invention ... It is the source for the evolution of the crypto market. Of course, technology is always improving and changing day by day. Bitcoin is not number one, maybe sooner or later if a scaling solution is about to take effect. Blockchain was stuck due to spam attacks or increased bitcoin users make transactions per day increased significantly. If this is sustainable it may exceed the bitcoin by market capitalization.  |
