Everything can possibly happen in terms of currency.
But I think bitcoin will be the king after all despite of its price and the first crypto it will be the basis of other coin.
If ETH will overpass bitcoin then it will be a huge milestone for eth but for now bitcoin will be the king after more years

Nobody can predict or speculate whats going to happen to a coin's long term trend . This game is about patience and this is the way it should be seen. People invest in coins what they can afford to loose, in that scenario its always to be positive as bitcoin has a long way to go and we are still in the beginning of the coin era and many more milestones to be seen/ crossed. Bitcoin has been an asset for most of the investors who see the digital arena as bitcoins era. Still i dont doubt the potential of bitcoin but i tell buy on dips not on highs.

I'm not sure what makes you see this possible reality, but I bet it's fear based. Why don't you believe something so good can exist? Don't be afraid of centralized organizations with great power, BTC will decentralize them.

Yes that is right that no one can say anythink about bitcoin in advance. But my personal view is that bitcoin will stay for a long time, because bitcoin has too much potential and the interest of the people in bitcoin is increasing from time to time. I am sure that the trend will continue increasing because more people are entering in the world of bitcoin. |

Nothing is eternal in this world.
Everything that goes up has to come down.
No one remains number one forever, someone always replaces number one.
Bitcoin price is on its new high recently, but it will not remain at this price forever.
Ups and downs are the important forces of any economy and its instruments. Like other currencies bit coin will split on day.
Transaction charges are increasing so as bitcoin value, this may affects its development.
If any similar currency arises with same features of bitcoin and overcome the disadvantages of it then and then only bitcoin get affected.

There might be a lot of new coins that competes with bitcoin and countries that ban bitcoin but still it manages to go up and keep on rising so I think that proves that bitcoin will always be number one. |

I thought for sure it would take until the end of 2018 but it looks like this summer ethereum might pass it up. With the turmoil around BTC potential splitting, it might be very soon. IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.
Things ate becoming interesting for sure and some of its competitors are also gainig speed towards butcoin. Especially ethernum with its brand new name and its ability to do things that even bitcoin cant. The things that keeps bitcoin afloat though is that it has reputation and has putlived a lot of cryptocurrencies |

New technologies can be a lot greater than bitcoin and I do not rule out that they can destroy it in a couple of years.

There were many forks in the past and there will be more of them in the future. Despite this, Bitcoin won't fail. People were frightened just before the Bitcoin Cash hard fork. And now? People are buying as much BTC as they can before 2 upcoming hard forks in the next few weeks. Ethereum price has gone down a lot recently. It won't be able to replace Bitcoin.

For me its not, bitcoin will always be the number one cryto currency, it is because it is the first crypto currency and has been upgraded and proven for the last past years, the price of bitcoin is also increasing and still becoming number one of all crypto currency. And i think no one can surpass that.

I see none. You can be killed in just a moment. The life of your loved ones can be taken from you in just a second. Is there a law that protects you from dying? There's none. There might be certain punishments for this kind of thing but once you're dead, you're dead. Your life is over. Same with bitcoin. There will never be a law that protects you from getting stolen from. Once your money has been stolen, then it's stolen forever. It's all on you how are you going to secure your funds and the good news is, it's not really that hard to do. There are multiple youtube videos out there about creating an offline wallet and there are articles about it too. If you are feeling a little generous, you might want to buy a hardware wallet. It's secure according to some people but I will still put my money in a wallet generated in an offline computer and put in a thumbdrive. |

may be said that but I have confidence that bitcoin will remain the number one in the future because as we know for now alone its price is very extraordinary and this will continue to rise, and if later not be number one is not the most important problem is how we respond to circumstances and I will continue to support bitcoin.

It is true that bitcoin is the number one crypto currency, but only because it is the most popular and most widely used. But it is not the crypto currency with the highest price, which is actually suitable for investing. Since a person would not be encouraged to invest in a crypto currency trading if it has very low or very high prices that would be too cheap or too high for someone to be interested on it. |

Etherium is one of the famous Altcoins and the price is beginning to rise, but To me no, Bitcoin will always be the number one Crypto currency,
because this is the first Crypto currency and has been increasing and proven over the past few years,
Bitcoin prices are increasing and are still the number one of all Crypto currencies,
And I think nothing can get beyond that,
there is the possibility that it will happen and take a lot of time before other Crypto-crypto (Altcoin) goes beyond Bitcoin.
There are many better competitors - but they are not successful and well known.
