Any currency can lose its value, but it is not possible to predict. Personally I believe that bitcoin will be an alternative to the dollar. Modern money is not secured by gold like it did before, so their value depends entirely on the confidence of users. So bitcoin has every chance of becoming a currency №1 in the world.

Have you consider to see on how government would let such thing to happen? He clearly didn't state that Bitcoin will replace fiat. Rather he mentioned it will coexist with fiat which is true. But I agree with your point that government wouldn't let Bitcoin dominate the national market. But Bitcoin can surpass marketcap of any fiat currency as fiat are mostly localized and Bitcoin being international have the ability and potential to surpass adoption rate of any fiat currency unless all the governments start working together against Bitcoin.

Actually I don't think that Bitcoin will lose its price even when it dumps heavily. As I remember, the price of bitcoin before is just around 8 to 15 thousand(in peso) and until now even if it dumps, it never reach again its old value. Maybe it will dump but just a tens of thousands only.

If no body wants to buy bitcoins,it would start losing its value.But i don't think that it would happen.Demand for bitcoins is increasing day by day.Mass adoption of bitcoins is taking place.New countries are coming forward to accept bitcoin legally.So no need to worry about that.

I think you are right. The bitcoin will not lose its value because the demand of the people to bitcoin is continuing to increase. I can say that the demand is really a great factor in the price of the bitcoin.

I think btc value is hard to lose. Because almost whole world now accepted btc transactions. May it depends on the market if btc still accepted then it is. But if not maybe another cryptocurrency will rise. But just for its not going to happen that btc will lose. But in the future for it will be at top. Bitcoin can lose its value, just the same way everything loses its value when something bad happens e.g house, car, wife. The only thing that is assured right now is that although bitcoin can lose its value its not yet time for it to do so

It is surely possible for bitcoin but according to various research and possibilities, i I don't think bitcoin can drop below 2000$ now. Many new users have started making there future in bitcoin field and the investments goes on. If makes bitcoin to go on a huge height. For now, possibly bitcoin can surely increase upto 10,000$ in few months as we all saw a immense price jump to 4000$+. Bitcoin can't go back now as it has many expectations of many peoples globally. Bitcoin has became the global digital currency. Also many users have invested millions of money in purchasing costly mining equipments.

Unpredictable as it is, i don't think it would lose valie that much that it would plunge to even below 2 or 3k now. Everything's possible but he likelihood of bitcoin going all the way down in slim with this many supporters now

Yes, good explanation! Bitcoin may only lose it value when there are so much bitcoin dump in the market. As long as people hold their bitcoins on normal being there would be no drop on bitcoin value. Bitcoin will only lose value when people keep selling excessive amount of bitcoin daily which not really going to happen unless something really bad happen on the market.

This is true not only for bitcoin but for anything, the more people that are selling their bitcoin and the bigger supply of bitcoin the greater the decrease in price but it is difficult to produce a panic so big that causes people to sell their holdings like that.

It may happen but I cannot see the chances of this thing to happen and that too for a decade or two at least. This is just the start of it, and people have just managed to start investing in it and so is the market. So, saying this that Bitcoin will lose its worth will not be justified. All I can see is a bright future of the Bitcoin and its believers.

Its very hard now to lose its value, money is the source of all power and bitcoins system is qualified to that matter. All people that understand what and how can bitcoin change the monetary system will stash more for the future, that is why bitcoins value cannot dump like 5-6 years.
