Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?

Yes the reason why is only goverment ! If goverment banned bitcoin in all world maybe the bitcoin will back to the zero value and all people became mad to goverment but time goes on we need to move on if it happens. This is possible when it comes to price manipulation. Or have access to Bitcoins data. it may be broken or otherwise control it. So if it happens Many people are full out of their bitcoins and buy it with fiat money to save the amount of their bitcoins. But I think it's Nothing to happen because Satoshi is Unrecognizable How can they even start those things |

I think yes, bitcoin will lose its value if and only if some altcoins can be proven to be more efficient and more practical to use. Some worthy altcoin can be worth to consider because it has edge in transaction fees and transaction rates.Bitcoin also has the tendency now to be more of a hype. Many new investors are being persuaded to enter crypto world because of high value versus fiat currencies. There is also BCH that can be a better choice than bitcoin because of bigger block size (8mb) vs (1mb) meaning faster rate and lower fees. But of course bitcoin is bitcoin, until it is the favorite by many then nothing can dethroned it.

Yes it possible for bitcoins to lose its value because we all know that bitcoins is not stable. And their value in the market is tremendously increasing because a lot of people are demanding on it. They wanted bitcoins mamy people do that is ehy the value are still increasing but once the people does not want the bitcoins anymore it will slowly fall and became totally worthless if no one in this world would wanted to buy it. Because as what I understand in the supply and demand law, those things that people dont give a thing, those will going to be worthless because no body wants it so they cannot sell it in a higher price. |

Of program! Something is constantly feasible. Bitcoin could get rid of its worth if one thing severe takes place like authorities shuts down all the exchanges or anything like that.

There are some possibilities that yes it could might happen, but since the demand is still increasing we can say that obviously is not gonna happen and we cannot speculate that it will go down after a year. Some of the experts predicts that bitcoin prices will rise as many countries that legalize bitcoin in transactions, for example japan or russia, and now altcoins are also in the market to compete with bitcoins

For me, the price of Bitcoin has pumped to a price range can't decrease to low price as below $100 again. I don't think that that is possible because there will always be people who invests in bitcoin and that is why bitcoin is growing because there is a lot of money to make from it. And the value keeps rising till 20k one day.

It is always possible because bitcoin is just a cryptocoin and there are a lot more coins and there is always a possibility that your country bans bitcoin.
And if that happens you would invest in it for nothing. So you should get the most profit as you can right now.

Yes if the governments ban it. Bitcoin would have no chance against them it is not so powerful than your government. Your government can stop it by ban it so bitcoin would lose his value. So in short bitcoin has the possibility to lose his value if even country's work together it would fall in a week. |

there's really nothing definitive in what bitcoin concerns the price or value of bitcoin, nothing is impossible if bitcoin loses its value. because at the beginning of this year bitcoin price is so low that until now its price up does not close the possibility of its price will fall back.

I don't think that its possible for Bitcoin to loose all its value as it is the most popular crypto available in the market and has alot of believers. Many people regard it as one of the fastest growing investment available in the market and alot of people have invested their hard earned money in Bitcoin. With the rise in its demand and popularity, you can only expect a higher value of Bitcoin in the future. |

In my opinion this can be possible that bitcoin may starts falling downward as we all know that bitcoin is based upon algorithms and if someone able to crack those algorithms through any super computer then btc will loose the value.

Of course losing price for bitcoin is possible. The important point is realizing terms when bitcoin will be changed badly. If we imagine that bitcoin increases always, every person who is interested in bitcoin will be rich. So bitcoin will be of course lose its value. |

Everything can lose its value no matter how strong they can be and how good they are right now. Bitcoin is good, but there is nothing can guarantee that there will be no other cryptocurrency which is stronger than bitcoin. Don't expect much in bitcoin. Also it is very good, it can still be replaced by many different elements in different situations

It will go down but it will not stay down because the overall trend will say that the price will go up. When the price of bitcoin will go down many investors will panic but if we believe and we understand the trend, we will always buy those cheap bitcoins. |

I dont think so that bitcoin totally lose the value because if you saying that decreasing and increasing the value was its normal but totally or continuous lose the values that is impossible it just because of we have now a many userany investor so do you think bitcoin was gone in a few years as we can know also that many of celebrities was introducing bitcoin to others to invest and to promote so just it to continuous working with bitcoin.
