i am trying solo mining with my cpu just for fun so to speak (never did it with cpu, also i am waiting the amd binary for the coin yet)
barely starting, 25mins running and nothing

the questions is...
for those that were solo cpu-mining before how long it would take to find a block?
i mean, coin its in initial phase so shouldn't take that long, right? or i am wrong and its just pure luck

yes, you still can,
even better when coins are barely starting like this one, the difficulty its low and you grab more.

i have amd apu too but its desktop, i think yours will work similar
mine works fine even being old, currently i am mining decred, also pascl and sometimes others for fun)

You'll never find a block cpu mining, its way too unlikely. Cpu is way less hash/s than gpu. Even mining with gpu the network is @ like 1GH/s, it is too late to solo mine. I stopped solo mining after the coin was released for a day, way better to pool now.

Better do mining with web pool, than to do solo mining. Will make the cpu is not good

AMD miner appears to be hashing but not communicating with the pool correctly to getwork and submit shares. If anyone (pool op) can help fix this please join Gitter.
