Hi all, I've read whole thread. All 49 pages. During the reading I was convinced to switch my mining to Denarius. I like the idea to be part of new coin! Also I must give credits to Carsen and other developers how development is going really fast. Good work! If you continue with this speed, there will be no barrier for bigger coin adoption. I know that Carsen is now focused on development and adding DNR to exchanges. But I agree with someone from previous posts that roadmap should be published. I have few questions related to DNR future, but I will leave them for some other posts. That will be all from me for my first post here! Keep up the good work! Vlado

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

A lil more documentation on linux would be nice , I am running denariusd but how can I interact with it ?
Cant find anything like denarius-cli or something similar-
You would do: So for example: To print out info about Denarius, you can utilize any of the JSON RPC commands. Cheers for the infos , but I kinda gave up - I wanted to run a pool (been fiddling with unomp) If anyone could throw me some tips on how to implement a new algo to existing pool softwares I would greatly appreciate it.

so, anyone can make a calculation for 600mh/s, dnr per day?
I'd estimate ~80 give or take at current difficulty. Hmm, I didn't know DNR was on whattomine yet.... cool. It looks like it's still in testing phase though, no results given when I tried it.

Anyway for 600,000kh/s it says 46.3 dnr per day I think the default difficulty on whattomine is not accurate. When I look at the average of the past 100 blocks here, https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dnr/ - it looks like it's quite abit lower. I know it's small sample size, but based on what I've had over the past 3 days mining I made my rough estimate of 80 coins for 600 mh/s.... I'll be keeping an eye on it going forward to see if I've just been extra lucky.

well, if around 80 a day, would be great, do you have a link for your last 24 h?
With a single Rx 480 8gb at 31.8 Mh/s (stock settings) on a personal computer I have made between 3.5-4.5 DNR per day over the past 72 hours. With a hashrate 20x higher then that somewhere between 70-90 DNR would be expected. Like I said though, it's a small sample size on my end and I may have been lucky. I would need to test with more GPUs to know for sure.

I have to admit that whattomine shows more profit for DNR then for Zcash But, will see the rates. If from 0.4 to 0.8 - wow!

Does anyone have idea why my wallet is not staking? Icon in the bottom right corner is gray and it shows message: "Not staking because you don't have mature coins"
I am mining for few days and I have several coins.
In config file I have setting: - staking=1 - and nodes are also added (copy paste from one of the previous posts)
Wallet (v. 1.0.2.) is encrypted, unlocked and open for more than 24 hours.
It has 9-10 active connections to Denarius network.
Thanks.

Yes, I agree, Cryptopia is great, but it's too expensive Hello Carsen, maybe it would be a good move to contact Cryptopia exchange ?
Its $15,000+ USD to get listed at Cryptopia and there is really nothing different about them from coinexchange and novaexchange where DNR is already listed. I just cant justify their cost to list and I don't entirely see the benefit of getting listed there, there are a lot of bigger exchanges out there that I would rather focus on getting listed at like Bittrex, Livecoin, Yobit, Shapeshift, etc. What !? I didn't know that. Forget about it

Heard that someone is working on implementing a USD->DNR gateway website.
They are planning to accept paypal, credit card and skrill (and I am guessing also bitcoin).
This could become an easy on ramp for people to get DNR to use, and if the rumor of the darknet market accepting only DNR is true, this would be very bullish for denarius!
