OK; not trying to do the "I told you so!" thing (But I did tell you so!) in any kind of negative way.
...
blabla useless useless blabla user ignored posts that don't involve me but i keep posting here (to a suspiciously persistent level) because my wisdom is just soo blindingly divine that it would be a crime to just keep it to myself. sorry, just...

My $.02.

Sad

...
I know at the minimum to start a class action lawsuit we would need a total of 25 people to reduce the legal fees.
...

well, i wonder could we start a thread (might get lost here with unrelated spam, ahem) to organise 25 people, or however many are needed, to get the ball rolling?

Why the hell would it get lost here? The past spam back and forth were between those trying to point out issues and the cheerleaders who blindly supported TH. I think it's obvious, that only one side remains.

And you are surprised by all this just why?

Earlier I suggested such things were going on and were indeed going to happen and was pooh-poohed for having done so.

The next step will be the filing of a Chapter Proceeding.

My $.02.

Sad

Not surprised I'm just stating facts. Just wanted to put this into this community to show what's going on. As a mentioned earlier in the first post we only have ourselves to blame for not acting fast. We all should likely act now though.

As much as your input is valued in all this I just don't think that saying "I told you so" is helpful to some people. It may just upset those who have already gotten badly burned.
Your comment doesn't upset me cause I knew the risks but just saying, Just my two satoshis.

OK; not trying to do the "I told you so!" thing (But I did tell you so!) in any kind of negative way.

Whwat you are doing now is watching the essentially untraceable assetts of Terrahash and those associated with it dissappear, never to be seen again.

The money is gone, never to be seen again and you can sue to your heart's content and nothing will be achieved.

Once the Crypto has changed hands there is no getting it back or really even determining where the cash is going to finally end up.  Move the converted crypto to an offshore account, move it again to another account.  Rinse and repeat a time or two.  This is classic.

It's over boys and girls.

Finis.

Das Endung.

The End.

I wish it were otherwise as many have lost a lot but it is over.

My $.02.

Sad

I apologize if you took that the wrong way. It is just very frustrating to have been lurking these forums for six month and not being able to bypass the stupid first post waiting period to finally come in and get a word in. You are right. You have said these things in the past but no one believed you.

At this point the only facts are:

1. Two open cases in Santa Clara court. No decisions as of yet. Wouldn't this have to be resolved first before a proceeding?Huh
http://www.sccaseinfo.org/pa6.asp?process_name=process_index_party2&search_string=Terrahash+Inc.&case_type=All&display_name=Terrahash+Inc.

I know at the minimum to start a class action lawsuit we would need a total of 25 people to reduce the legal fees.

If a company makes a Chapter 11 proceeding does that show up in public records somewhere that we can search? We need to apply pressure regardless of whether or not we get anything back. Amir is a criminal as far as I am concerned and I don't think he should walk away from this without having some dire consequences.
[/quote]

OK.  You and me, we got no problems!  Everything is good!

I'll answer your questions as best I can, based upon my own personal experience and the relevant laws.

First, if Terrahash were a bird, it would appear to be alive only because it is nailed to its perch.

By its own admission Terrahash has no money, no assets and people have seen dirty laundry tossed about the formerly rented premises of its offices.

Well now...............

A Chapter Eleven is a reorganisation bankruptcy, which goes like this:

Company filing says: "OK, we got some problems but we can fix it, so we are filing this proceeding to get the time we need to straighten out things."  So, depending on how the Court handles the filing it could be that no one loses any money or at least not much.

" A bankrupt company, the "debtor," might use Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code to "reorganize" its business and try to become profitable again. Management continues to run the day-to-day business operations but all significant business decisions must be approved by a bankruptcy court."

http://www.sec.gov/investor/pubs/bankrupt.htm

Terrahash has no money, no assets and has already made the statement that it will file but was trying to put it off.

Terrahash, IMHO, will file a Chapter Seven bankruptcy; what we in the biz call a "Straight Fuck You."

"Under Chapter 7, the company stops all operations and goes completely out of business. A trustee is appointed to "liquidate" (sell) the company's assets and the money is used to pay off the debt, which may include debts to creditors and investors."

I wonder how far that dirty laundry will go towards settling the debts?

You can sue all you like but if there are no assets, you're not going to get anything but a paper judgement, worth nothing.

Want to go after the people who started and ran Terrahash?

Get busy, get a ton of money and start a bunch of new actions because those people are not directly involved in the corporate bankruptcy until a court of competent jurisdictions says they are.

"Class Action"?

Against what?

A broke-assed company?

So it seems that someone may have run off with the BTC.

OK.

Good luck finding out who did; that whole anonymity of crypto thing.

Even better luck finding out where the money went!

It's over and everyone would be much better off buying a bunch of Scrypt mining rigs and start earning rather than paying Legalman good money after bad.

My $.02.

pcb board assembly for 18gh is 7btc or $798? a 60 chip in a 6 pcb? that is very expensive, maybe i should get a thread offering a much cheaper option.

Amir has 13 posts and he is providing a service ... better be careful.. he does not accept Escrow ..

I'm sure that after all what bitcoiners have gone through on this forum, nobody will fall for, or be taken for a ride by TerraHash, especially by a Newbie with ONLY 13 posts named Amir.

If only somebody in the porn industry became a ASIC expect and offered bitcoin miners for sales. But what are the odds of that happening?

Why don't they just cash-out some of those coins and pay people back? They could probably have made the coins back easily by selling at $1200 and buying back at $600. No reason for them not to end this cleanly.

They get to keep more money if they don't pay people back...  and since most people here are content to take it up, I mean write it off why would they refund anyone?  It seems awful clear at this point refunds ain't happening without some external pressure...  Whether it makes sense to try and apply pressure well that is definitely a matter of debate and personal circumstances.

Are they really out to scam everyone? I figured for the longest time they were just trying to delay because they didn't have the cash. At this point though... Shit dudes, come up with a plan to pay people their money. Don't turn this into a complete scam. What would they have done had Avalon come through with the chip orders? Or did they plan a scam from the beginning and the rest was just coincidence?

There isn't even a point to bash you, your clearly lost as hell, arguing with you would educate you, and I don't want to educate a punk ass idiot like you. Your opinions are shit as well.

The thing I hate about you the most is your posts are downing the people that were scammed, leaving shit with a no hope left attitude.

And your legal info is wrong, which your posts are based on, so stop posting and spreading spam/fud in this thread.

I think that someone who has right in a common outsee of an situation, has an easy way to denie others. Especially when comes to the situation of losing money like this one.

fire5, there's a huge battle between all the coherence that's behind LostDutchman and every individual here. So if he is going to press more and more, this is only his personal opinion, that he cannot believe in. So he must bash others "that is what I have told you" and "that is what I tell you".

OMFG what an asshole.  Keep filling this thread with the exact same thing over and over and over again, I think I speak for everyone when I say we find it oh so charming.  It really makes me want to pay you to build and operate a GPU miner for me too!  LOL

Amir is a criminal as far as I am concerned and I don't think he should walk away from this without having some dire consequences.

So clearly, it is not just about the money, but about ensuring that some type of consequences are seen for taking the money and running.

Dutchman, since you love repetition so much, let me repeat that for your stupid ass:

And that is quite possibly the most value we've received from any posts or responses to lostdutchman.

That was hilarious!  Thank you for posting that...   I think we all have grown very very tired of lostdutchman forcing his opinion all over us.  It's almost as if he's commiserating with Amir, encouraging everyone to throw their hands up and walk away.

Meanwhile, Amir has about the equivalent of $1,500,000 USD in Bitcoin that does not rightfully belong to him.

Ya, that's what people do when they lose a collective 1.5 million. Just walk away... the money's gone right dutchy?

Please, stop posting in this thread.

I think we should all invest in some type of 3rd party to get the money back. I used to watch this show where people hire these guys to collect bail money or some other type of loan money and do whatever it takes to chase people down. I mean we have his name and his information. I just want him to refund people and do the right thing really. Anyone willing to invest in this idea? Also digging up from the past, we need Knight or whoever visited him to maybe share a picture of his face? Someone like this reasonable doesn't just run away with money I wonder what happened.
