Has anyone else problems with syncing the das wallet? I can't start my MN because of it :/. It can't find any blocksources.
Are there some addnode IPs to fix this?
NovaExchange lists the addnodes they use at the bottom of the DAS_BTC trading page: https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_DAS/

Current addnodes listed:
addnode=104.207.145.22:9399
addnode=107.174.69.220:9399
addnode=137.74.157.36:9399
addnode=141.134.124.215:9399

addnode=45.76.13.77:9399
addnode=45.77.115.157:9399
addnode=47.209.22.141:9399
addnode=5.79.97.229:9399
addnode=51.15.46.181:9399
addnode=52.23.180.74:9399
addnode=75.130.162.248:9399
addnode=78.106.135.194:9399
addnode=85.214.153.21:9399
addnode=89.239.193.68:9399
addnode=94.176.238.166:9399
addnode=98.172.83.52:9399
addnode=98.172.83.59:9399
addnode=98.226.11.139:9399

Using THESE addnodes as well as adding the longest ENABLED masternodes on the masternode tab (if not already listed above), I have had NO problems at all using this das.conf:

rpcuser=[username]
rpcpassword=[password]
externalip=[publicIP]
rpcport=9399
#listen=1
port=9399
server=1
daemon=1
logips=1
maxconnections=24
banscore=5000
bantime=86400
#
masternode=1
masternodeaddr=[publicIP]:9399
masternodeprivkey=[key]

I tend to have 20 connections (12 in/8 out) which is 20 peers (0 or very low ban score), average network speed at 3kB/s bursting up to 15kB/s with a daily average debug.log at 2-3 MB.

It took me about a week to tweak all these settings and setup my masternodes according to MY specific OS, machines and network setup. After that, I check once a day to make sure all is running well. Current MN rewards averaging 4.6 DAS daily this past week up to yesterday. Usually 2 rewards daily 12 hours apart, but sometimes a single reward if mining WAY down.

Hope this helps. IF your core is installed and compiled correctly AND your masternode is setup correctly incl applicable .conf files and you are connected to reliable peers on the MN network, you should not have any transaction problems, whether from/to internal wallet addresses or external addresses. Since I fixed my misbehaving peers problem, runs like a charm and EVERY transaction sees confirmations running at 3-5 mins per confirmation. Smiley

If you are getting unconfirmed transactions (ie, transaction never sent out on the network to be confirmed by anyone else), you have a connection and/or peer problem. There can be scores of reasons why and it's just a matter of analyzing the data from the Tools windows, debug.log and DAS block explorers to troubleshoot and correct.

No, you shouldn't consider it as a loss.... Coin shouldn't just disappear, the issue should be investigated by the dev (preferably)
I am sure there is a solution for this, as without any explanation the whole project would collapse as people won't be confident sending it anywhere.

I agree but the DEV if MIA who is going to help me?

Umm..find the info since you are sitting right there at your computer and are the only one who has the addresses, transaction IDs and info from your console and debug.log and if you run into anything that you cannot figure out, there is a willing community to assist you further if you are willing to share all the applicable information and facts to troubleshoot your specific problem.

IF the dev gave personalized attention to every problem of every single owner of DAS, he could not sleep, eat, live nor dev. That is what the community is for. Smiley

Like masternodes are peer to peer for the blockchain, the community is peer to peer for information and assistance.

I used your config but still no progress. It worked fine at first but 3 days ago it stopped syncing. I didn't change anything. The wallet says i have 8 active connections, but it still doesn't sync. My MN on my VPS is perfectly synced.

Also, you do you get 4 DAS daily..? When my MN worked i got 2 DAS every 2 days or so.

this node work ok with me , i think you need reset program run wallet , remember keep your wallet , or you wait 10'-15' sync fine .

Mine nodes earn 2 DAS an average a day rather than 4 DAS. I thought the masternode reward is not dependent on the config file. If the masternode up and running, in the long run, the average should be the same.
What is the special settings you have done to double your masternode reward? Nothing new in your config file.

DAS Mining Pool Inquiry??

Now that hexpool.com's mining pools and stratum servers have been down for a few days, I'm wondering about the source of current DAS masternode mining and related block generation and rewards. I'd like to hear from hexpool on what happened and when/if there will be a resumption of mining on his pools, especially for DAS.

In the past the hexpool DAS mining pool address (which recieved the 80% mining reward for pool distribution) was: D6Ray6xTD7VcJLHz4uDkzXGvDJb8Jvc8XF where a good portion of DAS pool mining was done and DAS masternodes received the 20% reward. (July 21 to September 6?: 142,590 DAS)

Currently, http://mining.topcoins.biz/ DAS mining pool address: DMqRsejTbi9uV3QWPrjyqPiYraAxNdMFcj where there is some low volume and intermittent mining of DAS. (August 8 to current: 9,675 DAS)

In addition to hexpool and topcoins mining pools (which are the only ones listed in the DAS Announcement initial post), current MN rewards (20%) are split (80%) to a mining pool associated with a new address: DDfTcnWUu1tcpQ4dY5WQhHY9KVv833QnFu ??!! (August 7 to current it looks like)

Does anyone know who/where this mining is being done? In order for DAS to succeed, there must be a correlation between mining, masternodes, development, community, exchanges and transactions for DAS. With hexpool, the PRIMARY DAS mining pool, being down (Yiimp hack?) with no explanation, where is the current mining being done and how can we expand this mining? With the variable difficulty and 80% mining rewards for block generation benefitting miners, DAS is a win for miners as well as a win-win-win for DAS in general. The more mining, the more masternode rewards, the more DAS in circulation, the more diversification of DAS ownership.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Who/where is address DDfTcnWUu1tcpQ4dY5WQhHY9KVv833QnFu associated with? Is there a 3rd pool for DAS mining? What are the details?

(If you check the block explorers for your MN mining rewards, you will come up with these addresses on the 80/20 mining split, with 20% to your MN address(es) and 80% to the mining pool address.)

Anyone know of any reliable mining pools where we can add x11 mining for DAS to ensure a diversification of mining for DAS (just as important as multiple exchanges and masternode growth!). This is where a community development team would be great. A specific person or team working on mining and documentation, others on masternodes and documentation, another on exchanges and documentation, etc, etc, etc. Dev is MUCH more than just the code. (and Truckman REALLY needs to realize that) With the costs associated with all of this, the premine needs to be utilized to support decentralized community development and supplemented with community donations according to a masternode voting process. SOON rather than later.

Thank you.

Regards,

c_p

EDIT: Sept 12, 2017 1655 GMT: I found out that DDfTcnWUu1tcpQ4dY5WQhHY9KVv833QnFu is the DAS mining pool wallet for https://granatgas-pool.info/. (73,394 DAS mined since 08/07/2017). I personally had NO idea DAS x11 mining was going on there. It would have helped greatly to share this information. Smiley NOW we all know. I will be able to get better analytics on DAS mining, block generation and mining rewards now with all 3 currently active DAS mining pools: topcoins, granatgas and sopool (hexpool dead).

And NOW a new unidentified mining pool wallet address of D8smVv9kWyeLqg37RL2z3u9PAdDXRixBfo has shown up beginning on Sept 10?! (1188 DAS)

Does someone know in which exchanges can i purchase the DAS asset please?
And I have another question, is there some reason on why this coin does not participate on exchange Cryptopia?

Thank you all!

Thank you all!

The only exchange you can purchase DAS is NovaExchange https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_DAS/
There is a DA$ in Cryptopia, but that is another project, do not buy from there...

DAS can't be listed on Cryptopis due to the fact the DAS name is taken by another project.

The Masternode I put together has been running 16+ hours now and nothing. Is it just a waiting game or is something configured wrong? I am not sure what to expect. Will successful payments go to my Das wallet? How often will that happen?

I used something like four sets of instructions to get it working. None of the instructions talked about managing the Masternode after it was running.

On my single masternode I usually get paid 1-2 times today and it averages about 4-5 coin. I've had days where I've got 2-3, and some days where I've got up to 8 coins. As far as monitoring...

- Every once and a while make sure your IP address is still the same (assuming you are using a mostly "static" one from your ISP). Some people don't technically have a static IP but their ISP doesn't change it often or at all.

- On linux, Open a terminal and run the following every now and then. Make sure it doesn't report any errors in the output. If it says "Service Not Available" that means your service isn't running and you need to start it. This has happened to me on my Pi when I think the power went out and it rebooted. I don't have it set to start the DAS service automatically.

Code:
das-cli getinfo

- On linux monitor space. There is a debug.log file in the ./das directory that sometimes will grow out of control. You can delete the file if you need space. I found if you delete it with the service running it doesn't seem to regenerate. Maybe it will the next time the service starts.

- On your windows wallet, open it up every few days. You should be getting coin. Let the full synchronization happen at the bottom. Then click on the masternodes tab and make sure your node still says "Enabled" and not "Missing".

More or less I check my wallet daily. I'm always on my laptop anyways. I always let it synch to see new coins come in. I do a quick status check on the masternode tab. If I see problems I investigate. So far I've had 2 outages and one was caused by debug.log eating up all my space, and the other was a power outage which caused my pi to reboot and I didn't have the service set to start immediately.

It's been running for over a day now and nothing. I just checked it and it has seven connections to it. It been running and used almost 2GB of bandwidth. I am not sure how it gets paid. Is it a Que or is it a random chance? I may take it down and add the ip addresses from the other masternodes nodes and see if that helps. On the masternodes tab it's been Enabled for over an entire day.

Edit: I was looking at the masternode getinfo above. It shows a 1002 balance. Mine doesn't. Could that be the problem? I have a 0 balance and a 0 private send balance. I am sure I sent 1000 das to the correct wallet. Maybe I messed it up.

Edit 2: I decided to send 1000 das to my getaccountaddress 0 and even though it says I have 1500 spendable das it says I have insufficient balance to send the das. I know I sent the das to the correct address during the masternode setup. I am not sure what is happening at this point.

Edit3: Sent the das after much fiddling and fees. Still the masternode shows no das

(July 21 to September 6?)

Currently, http://mining.topcoins.biz/ DAS mining pool address: DMqRsejTbi9uV3QWPrjyqPiYraAxNdMFcj where there is some low volume and intermittent mining of DAS. (August 8 to current)

Thank you.

Regards,

c_p

3, If you are using a controlling wallet and a Linux VPS as a masternode, you would need to send the 1000 das to the account 0 address of the controlling walled and you will have 0 balance on the masternode. That is correct...

2, If you have 1500 in your controlling wallet but you sent 1000 previously to account 0 and set up the masternode, your 1000 is locked and not available to send even if you can see it in your account balance. (There is/was a bug when you could in some circumstances, but that ruin the masternode and it shouldn't happen)

1, What is your setup? How many wallets? If you had 1002 in your masternode, that sounds like you minted 2 das, but that was still immature and not yet available.

I have set up a few masternode on Saturday. 1 of them enabled in for almost 3 days now without any reward, 1 received twice and one received one reward. I guess it is random.

Investing in a new coin/token via ICO requires trusting the cybersecurity practices of the company/project

Securecoin Capital just launched a service (in beta) to grade ICO's on their cybersecurity capabilities as part of creating awareness around #CryptoHygiene (https://www.securecoin.capital/cryptohygiene)

Every ICO will be given 1 of these 3 Grades for their cybersecurity capabilities
'A': best in class
'B': average
'F': sub-standard

You can subscribe to the #CryptoHygiene newsletter to get 10-15 cybersecurity grades/week for free (https://www.securecoin.capital/coins)

For members, they have created an on-demand service to request grading specific ICO's that need to be prioritized (https://www.securecoin.capital/gifts)

Is there any reason you posted this advertisement in this thread? How is it relevant to DAS? We don't have and never had any kind of ICO.
If there is no real reason and you just want to advertise your service, could you delete it, please? We are not really interested in this as it is not relevant.
