As of now Dogecoin seems to be the most profitable. I have a 7870 dedicated to it and I've made a decent amount so far. Way better than I would make mining Litecoin.

Dogecoin, Lottocoin, and many others have better profitability than litecoins, but I guess the question is will they last or just die off in few months?

There are too many Dogecoins to reach high price for each and when it became more exchangable some ppl who sometimes have mountains of it started to sell. But number of doges made it reachable to everybody and so many lost BTC train... Partly because of this and dogemania many of these who earlier didn't mine now (thanks to tutorials for dummies) started... even me... such advertisement such community Wink

However IMO it still have great potential didn't go trully mainstream... it will when value will get stable grow again... from some point... and it must happen because mining will become more difficult for common users in the end... all depends of power of community to make it mainstream and it's usability.

Sell cheap infidels, me waiting... and moon waiting Smiley

Why would Litecoin have less chances? Doge made competition bigger but LTC is second most well known currency after BTC - this is big advantage. Doge has chances to be third in recognizibility.

So I've been reading about Doge Coins lately and I think it's hilarious.  How can an internet meme all of a sudden become so popular?  Seriously though I am still trying to wrap my mind about the concept of crypto currencies.  It's great that it's getting so much recognition, even from the governments.  I hope that they will embrace it rather than attempt to erase it.

It's like any new innovation - many people will copy it and try to copy the success.  some of the coins have good selling points which may mean they stick around and others are kinda hit and hope.

As for Doge...personally I think it started out as a joke and Ive kind of thought of it as one the whole way through, though with so many people holding them and the huge interest from people it might actually last a while.  At some point the price will crash but after it stabilises who knows?

I am looking for a DOGE>USD chart. The DOGE>BTC chart doesn't really make total sense to me because BTC fluctuates like 20% either way every 24 hours. If i was buying DOGE with BTC id care, but i didn't buy into it, i am just mining it.

EDIT: Found a decent one at the bottom of this page.

Looks like the fad is coming do a close. What do you guys think?

It's a good idea to invest in peercoins? I was wondering if anyone of you have a better comprehension of that Altcoin in specific

Looks somewhat different than most of the alt coins out there with the implementation of proof of stake. I don't know if this is enough for the coin to take off.
