Is there any current way to exchange Catcoin for any other currency without having to trade with a random stranger?

It ate a lot of the rest of my post earlier. I was going to ask other newbies if they had traded crypto currency on ebay before?

I sold 5 lots of 1,000,001 MILLIDoge for an average price of $115.00 on ebay last few days. The buyers are trying to claim that I promised 1 million doge for the price. In the description/body of the ad I say five times that they are getting 1,000 Doge only for thier $127.00, one guy bought three lots. Now everything is being held by Paypal, and I was wondering what paypal would do with the profits - since they say they have no refund/buyer protection for intangible digital items.... anyone had experience with this?

Paypal will refund and chances are eBay will ban you.

Selling on ebay is risky due to chargebacks.

Be very careful with Paypal.  Charge backs is a real problem.  It has happened to me.  Nothing you can do about it either.

Not charge backs are the real problem.

The real problem are scammers who use the charge back feature for their schemes.
It's like cars are to blame for all the accidents. No , in most cases , the human that drive them is to blame.

Avoid the scammers and you avoid the problems.

do you suggest to have a large portfolio of alt coins?

i've done very well acquiring several of them trading some and holding some, but i make a criteria to mostly buy coins that have unique or innovative properties to btc.

my ad selling USB Erupters on Gumtree Australia (owned by eBay) was cancelled and when I appealed I got this reply below.

best not to ask unrealistic prices for crypto-currencies and/or miners otherwise eBay could follow suit.
we don't want to give bitcoin or any crypto's a bad name.

EDIT.  there was nothing in their 'Terms of Use' saying bitcoin related sales were not allowed when I checked.

Alt coins arent going away anytime soon. They are like a backdoor into the groundfloor of bitcoin for all those who missed out. The question is, what will their effects be on the price of bitcoin as we start to see hundreds or even thousands of these coins traded against it.  Huh

Most alts will come and go.
Only the established ones will remain.
I like DOGE, DEV and NXT. I think they'll do well.
But who knows?
