But I do have a scenario in my mind, just for the argument's sake, what would you guys think?
I, as a whale, purchase 10M ADS at launch (0.1$ per token).
People noticing the big influx believe that this ICO will be a huge success; 5M ADS are sold to real investors.
I cash out all my tokens immediately, selling 5M tokens @0.125$ average and 5M tokens at 0.098$.
I become rich.

Better yet hold coins till platform is running and collect more in dividends than these "riches" you talk about. Also, "real investors" paid 0.125$ for 33%, and after your exit they get 100% and can still exit as $0.98 so it's win/win  |

what is the different？
It is hard to say how Adex works from thei whitepaper, but they admit that one cannot do admarket based on ethereum smart contracts that scale. We know that too, that's why we started with scalability. Adex plans to start work on their v2 scalable platform in 2019. From investement point of view it is even less convincing: "Certain actions within the network would be incentivized by the creation of additional tokens,
which will be received by whomever committed that action. This will ensure slow, on-demand
inflation of the token so that there’s enough in circulation for the network to be healthy and
usable."
"This also allows for continued project funding, since the AdEx network does not take any fees or payment" As for adchain, they try to establish directory of trusted publishers. It is hardly a competition for Adshares. In fact I see potential for cooperation. Adchain tokens do not seem to give holder any kind of dividend. Adshares have custom blockchain built for scalability and our coins will collect dividend from fees paid by network users. |

But I don't get how real investors are getting 100%. They did pay 0.125 on average, the minimum price they paid are 0.101. After I'm out, the maximum they can get is 0.98 hence they are in a loss. My point is, this system is very open to an abuse. Being devil's advocate, what if one of the developers apply this strategy? |

Coins from new blockchain will be allocated to token holders. Before sale real investors would get 33% if coins. After sale 100% of coins. I would sale terms have improved for them - more coins for same price. As for abuse. This system is much more resilient. In standard ico developer can just pump as much ether as he wants and get tokens for effective price of zero and dump on market after the sale. Real investors won't even get benefit of reduced dillution. |

this seems a good project, really like the concept of getting dividends too. also does not hurt that the whitepaper is quite simple and easy to follow. Very much liked that. Will keep an eye on this project closely, and will probably invest too. keep up the good work!

It seems that small site owners will receive quantities before they complete large amounts, but what's the requirement for small sites regarding uptime? For example, if I created a site two days ago, can I participate? And if I now create a site exclusively for this, is it allowed?

Yes site owners will receive even very small quantities. New sites can participate in network with no limits. You can create new site for this. Note that older site with reputation will receive better ads. |

Tokens (ADST) will be used for payments for ads, but only temporarily as this is not scalable solution and its hard to give dividends this way. We will move to custom blockchain by end of the year. Crowdsale will then end and all token holders will be able to convert tokens to coins on new blockchain. % of coins received will be proportional to % of held tokens. From then on new coin (ADS) will be used for all payments in adshares network and will receive dividends from collected fees. |
