Do Altcoins really have a future?

The future of any altcoin depends on how good the peoject is and how well are the developers doing with it. If the project's motive, it's aim is really good and attracting but the team working on it is not that hardworking or just there to make some money then that kind of project doesn't really has a bright future. So, for the project to be a big hit and successful it needs both, an attracting motive and a really hardworking team. So that's what makes a good project, which has a future... Bright future.

Although nowadays this space is contaminated by scams, I'm quite sure 1% of these projects will survive in the long term. Some of them have very useful features, like almost instant transactions, conditional payments and very good scalability, like Byteball.
However, when it comes to censorship resistant transactions and store of value properties, Bitcoin is, and will continue to be the number one for a long time...

Not all coins. Only a few, eth btc, etc, mnx , ltc and some others are good. Most token are useless, i sell the token when I got them. i don't keep my tokens, I prefer to change to ETH. I keep a coin like LTC , it is a coin  not token with it;s own network or blockchain.

Maybe some altcoins are probably have future, for me ethereum blue is the one. It is the best assets of ethereum. And the next one is accelerator token. Also assets of ethereum, that's why the investor of ethereum is going bigger because of the help of assets that supports ethereum. But its up on investor, because more invest, more potential to have a great future 

That's true if have many investor invest unto the etherium they have possibly increase the value of the altcoins, We know they have any different kinds of altcoins but i thin we need to choose the altcoins that have a potential to pump the value.

Ethereum is no doubt as one of the best in the altcoins market, you can tell on the volume, when people love to trade, most likely it's easy to move
the price up especially when there is a good news that will come. I also consider a lot of altcoins like ARK, Edgeless, and IOTA.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.

For me it's a yes. Come to think of it. We all know that Bitcoin has limited supplies. And thats really bothering coz if the day comes that btc has reached its limit, I think theres no BTC that goin to circulate. Thats where the alt coins functionality comes. We can use alt coins but of course it really depends on the alt coins that we have. Same concept as today, alt coins has a certain equivalent amount in BTC its just depends on the alt coin or the ICO makers if that altcoin will make profitable. Hmmm. Imagine BTC as gold and every alt coin as different currencies around the world.

Altcoins have a future of course! And many good. Now this trend has begun to be traced on the stock exchange. Promising coins begin to grow. Therefore it is necessary to pay attention to the coins with a good idea and the implementation of the product

There are some alternative coins that show great market potential and there are some that stays stagnant and with little value. Invest to coins that are already have good reputations in cryptoworld to avoid loss. One of the safest coin is the ethereum. But if you are a risk-taker, you can explore infamous coins.

i believe in altcoins, altcoins that is in the market has a future, we can invest if we are good at reading the background of the project you can become more successful in investing. know the people behind this coins so that you can be sure to invest or not. but not all altcoins have a future, some of them are scam that steals to the users of altcoins

Every coin has a future and same as the human who has also a future but that future cannot be determined quickly if that coin has a great future or a bad future the future of the certain coin maybe depend on the people demand and the supply of that coin

I do believe that every single coin on this forum ,cryto world and the market has a future every one has it you jist need to read the background on the coin and what it is purpose because other just apply and that its they do not read about the true purpose of the coin so it dies easily

Yes they do have future for all the coin of the crypto currency has a future but we still do not know if that can has a good or bad future on it like bitcoin at first we do not know that the bitcoin has no future before but know look it price is really big as of now

With out us those coin do not have future because we use the coins in order for us to make transaction faster and also make our future better like maybe in the next year we use bitcoin instead of physical money and that why we human give future ffor the coins

I strongly believe that Altcoins will dominate in the future. Probably, bills will no longer be of use. But it should not be abused. For sure many scammers will rise to pursue their own personal interest.

We have the same thought. Form me, not all altcoins were pump up its value. That's why many altcoins will be dissolved. At this time, I only see ethereum ang litecoin be in the future. They show good fluctuation on its value.

In my humble opinion altcoins have a big future. More and more people is beginning to invest in cryptocurrencies nowadays. Most of them knows only about Your Majesty Bitcoin. But after a while some of them open new cryptocurrencies for themselfs which we used to call altcoins. So cryptocoins capitalisation is growing day by day.

around 20 alt coins are doing really good jobs. all other coins are dump and pump coins for me.
but nowadays all of them dying because of bitcoin price pump.

It's interesting how everyone has a different view on this matter.

My personal view is that Altcoins do have future, every day there is a new ICO hoping to become successful. Some are scams but those are found out sooner or later. Altcoins are here to find a way to replace or be better than Bitcoin and i believe that one day that will be possible.

The only question is which alt-coins will it be.
