I believe that any blockchain project that is not good or that does not have a market will possibly fail at some point.
However any of the other technologies that are creating an infrastructure and an application are likely to survive.

Altcoins do have a future but not all. It may reach the state where BTC is right now and may be more useful when that time comes. It's not new when there are some coins that didn't make it or just collapsed, because digital realm is also a world of survival for the coins, the better the characteristics the more chances to stay and be strong enough to reach the future.
Altcoins world is a huge world, this world needs to has much times to improve and remove trash. But, who will do that? I just know when the investor understand the reason to invest into altcoin, they will only choose good altcoin and bad, trash altcoin will auto remove by the market. |

Not because they are alternatives you cannot see future in them or call them shitcoins. Well alternative coins have future also. I will give you a concrete example of good alternative coins. Look at Ethereum right now. It was once 20 usd if I am not mistaken last December 2016? And now, it is worth $230 now. See for just 9 months it became that much. But that is the price of Eth right now, last time I checked it was once 300 usd. But still, bitcoin is the king. It will stay in its throne for a long time.

Yes, those ICO companies who offers Alternative coins has also a big and great potential to have a wonderful future in our industry.

Some new altcoins are used as payment method in some websites and their success is related to these websites success. But compared to altcoins number, legit altcoins are few.

One day altcoins will be the most dominant in the crypto and there is even a chance that one of the altcoins will replace bitcoin in the top. My guess is ETH is one of the strongest and that is the reason why I am investing in ETH because I now it's undervalued right now. |

Yes some coins have good future. I think in short term every thing is possible as we experienced the price of some altcoins is very high such as Ethereum. But in long term everything depends on what will happen to Bitcoin.

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.
If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.
Altcoins also have very bright future ahead of them as they have created huge crypto market of investors which is make every day progress and new innovative projects which will make this altcoin industry reach moon in some future years. |
