I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.
What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?
I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.
If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.
I think there will be a future of some altcoins but not all of them of course. Yes, bitcoin is a king but some of other cryptocurrencies already are more advanced in technological way so it's too early to discard them |

In my opinion, very few altcoins are having a future. Many of them were only created for (by!) pumpers to make fast money with ICOs.
The few alts which will survive will be the ones with the biggest community support.
I must say, this user has said rational thing about this coin. Many ICO come, offer Huge Bonus and several months their pamour disappear. Just keep promising and dont have long term development. And, i think why Altcoins still have chance beside it's cheap, some of them can be mined. Example : Monero which have less difficulties rather Mining Bitcoin |

I also highly believe in cryptocurrency and its future. Blockchain technology adds high-security level for the cryptocurrency. A lot of high quality and the high-end product has to launch on blockchain concept. Those project use cryptocurrency(their own coin) as fuel for the system. As an example, there is ongoing ICO project called Daneel which is based on IBM Watson AI. It uses to manage the crypto portfolio with more secure and reliable way. Now, the society going from fiat to digital currency slowly. A lot of giant investors keep eye on the crypto market.

some of the main alt coins like ETH LTC or NEO, had been very cheap in 2017. you can check the chart and history o them. so there are some other altcoins that can reach this point like ETH. |

I believe good Altcoins that solves a real life pains would have a great future in this industry.
Coins that don't solve any pain ( no use case ) would surely die a natural death with time.
NEO, ETHERUM are examples of altcoins that would do well on the long term.

All altcoins has a future, you just choose a altcoins that has potential and a value that is in demand. I think investing in a good altcoins is a great idea because you will have a good profits in the future if you invest in altcoins that has a great future and it will have a great amount of investors. Sometimes reading about their article is a great idea to know what will happen and the predictions about in this altcoins. It is always onto you that making decision which altcoin will you invest with.

They have a future if they have a unique feature, ultimately as they become more popular or widely used, in many instances they will face the same scaleabilty issues as BTC and ETH (if they are lucky to get that popular!) They will find true values soon enough even if it not fiat value some may just influence future developments of already established coins.

Yes they have, altcoins are like other currencies that we know (i mean material ones) cause there is one big currency like dollar and other ones, the same on crypto ( in someway). They are just chasing bitcoin which lead to their pump and they have the same future like bitcoin because they create together a crypto market.

yes mate, altcoins have big future, crypto is just getting started so just stay positive, you just need to pick solid altcoins and you would be fine and counting cash after few months.

Altcoin is a large entity but a large percentage of altcoins do not have future. Their product can't survive the market demand and the team road map will be tested. Besides it is meant to be irrespective of teams, everything thing must just synergies

not for most of the coins have the future, since lots of them have started within last year, because of popularity of bit coins. among the thousands of crypto coins , I believe that not more than 100 will have the future. And other thing is, BTC will come like gems or Diamond in crypto world. Eth ,LTC ,dash, monero etc.. coins will be used for future transactions.

As we all know that the alt coins have very bright future.to the forth coming era because the bitcoin has its own limitations and its growth is limited to 21 millions only.So everybody is looking for an alternative coin in the place of bitcoin.The most popular alt coin will be replacing in the place of bitcoin.The alt coins have the same property that of bitcoin such as decentralized one and peer to peer transaction net working systems and all transactions are recorded to the electronic ledger with block chain technology.mostly Ethereum will be taking over the place of bitcoin with its strong market capital.So there is nothing to worry for the altcoin investors.

I am absolutely sure of this, because if there are no such wonderful projects that are being implemented today. Simply if there are no altcoins then there will be no competition in the world of crypto currencies, and this will lead to a monarchical system.

Bitcoin have future thats for sure. I do believe that there will be some alts standing still not just LTC and ETH but these as well: DASH, DOGE, XMR, ZCASH
There will be more of them. But the point is and will stay prob most of the alts will exist in the future for the people to gamble upon, to create fake value. We all know that most of them were made for profit and nothing else.

For all we know, altcoins are so many but each of them have their peculiar uses. They are there to serve the project they are made on behalf of. Therefore they will have a bright future if their project is also doing perfectly well. If the project is a failure then the coin will definitely follow to the bottom.
