Yeah I know how to limit myself; I know how much bet will depend on money that I have in that moment and I know how to stop. I am not that kind of person that is really addicted in gambling, because people who are addicted in gambling cannot limit themselves anymore. They wants to bet and bet until they don't have enough money left in their pocket which is not good and we need more learning and understanding about life. I think they are not a responsible person so that they are letting their mind to control them.

That's everyone's need to know, we have to set a limit regardless of the amount we bet, this is gambling and anytime we could lose a big money including those amount that are not suppose to be gambled. We can set a limit through our plan but we should have the discipline to implement it so we will be successful with gambling, not only winning can give success but more so the fun that we can get from gambling.

Yes setting up limits without self control has no meaning at all. We need to be more careful while gambling for that we must need strong capabilities to control ourselves. Otherwise setting up limits and then breaking it will become a routine of gambling how many gamblers are losing more frequently as their routine life.

only with limit we can save our money without having more loss and we can trying to stop the games and leave the places. i usually set a limit before i am start playing and only use at least 25% of all my money. its really help me when i can not win the games in that day so i can decide to quit as soon as possible.

Setting up limit does not mean you won't loose still any money. You "still" loose money, but you won't end up chasing that loss and suffer further tragedy. Better rephrase your words by saying that " you won't suffer huge loss"/"you can limit your loss".

This is good idea as if you won't set up limits for yourself you will probably lose a lot, as most of people become very greedy once they start gambling.

I used to have these limits for myself when i just started gambling, i probably would be addicted to ambling if not these limits. Now when i don't gamble that often and i can control myself better i don't need them anymore.

That's why you have to control it and never stop limiting yourself always because you will never know how much you can lose in a few minutes, because you know in gambling it could just be an instant to lose a lot of money. You have to control yourself and that's not easy in my opinion.

I don't think so, because if a gambler is addicted in gambling, no matter how much limitations he is going to set for himself, he will still going to gamble and gamble as long as he have the money, he will find a way just to spoiled himself in gambling. The thoughts that he have in gambling(false hope) is the one that keeps his desire alive on gambling, so in order to quit gambling, the change must always begin in ourselves.

I agree that limiting is not useless,  because it will give  you an ability to control yourself against extreme gambling activities. So if you have that self control will develop within you and you will not lose your funds with an entire bets you had. Managing emotions and your funds can be so important and in the long run you will find it very rewarding if you saved yourself of being bankrupt because of gambling addiction.

Yes, I always set a limit for myself with how much money I'm prepared to gamble. Either on a per day or per session basis. Need to do this or else can easily rack up large losses.

We all know that gambling is not only a fun but also potential danger. So are you limiting yourself somehow when gambling? DO you use casino's instruments to prevent you spending more money?

This depends on who you are and what you want from gambling and most importantly how much you have to spend. Normally I feel most users set out with a x amount to play with and that's how they do it, that would be my strategy as going with without a strategy and set balance a dangerous prospects that can badly back fire on oneself. It's very risky that one cannot even set a fix balance he won't have a fix limit he shall get his hands burnt badly.
