We all know that gambling is not only a fun but also potential danger. So are you limiting yourself somehow when gambling? DO you use casino's instruments to prevent you spending more money?
Or do you just limit yourself by setting a certain amount of money to spend? Or you don't limit yourself at all?

I limit my self when gambling. It's really hard to gamble with all of your money. I don't really take gambling seriously, I usually just gamble to play with my friends and to have fun. I think that gambling is made for entertainment, and it's stressful if you gamble and just think of the money.

Which makes stress is when gambling and we lose all the money that is owned, regardless of us gamble with whom good friends, other people and gambling online. Because stress is related to what we miss

It's not safe to always think about the money because it's not everything. It shouldn't be the one that dictates your actions because it could lead to catastrophic events in your life. Not only that it could lead you astray with decisions, it would make your friends wary of you, that's why we need limits.

You do have a point on which money isnt everything but when a certain person do plays gambling majority would already think of this thing which money would really be anything and would be the main target and sad to say its the reality why most people do play gambling. Limitation is always been suggested but once we are on the battlefield we would definitely forget those limitations we do set.

When we have a specific target we also have to have a good plan in gambling, in every gambling we must have the right time and strategy that we will apply. And of course added with very high emotional control. With that we may be able to get something to expect in the gambling

I usually only bet when I see a good bet, its all about having control on knowing what and how much to bet, I can do 10 bets one day and on another one only do 1 or none. Its important for me to keep a stake every bet, depending on how confident I am.

Later only they will regret not withdrawing money when they were in profits. So in gambling most important thing is when you will stop gambling whether it is winning time or losing time.

 

I agree, luck is nothing if we do not know when is the right time to withdraw or cannot control ourselves and stop betting.   Soon our luck will surely runs out and there is a huge possibility that in every roll in the latter part of the session, house edge kicks in.  This wil eventually made us to lose our winnings and at the same time our bankroll.

That is why its very important not to be greedy and control your emotions specially when you are in winning ways. I still remember one time I visited a land based casino and I immediately won big. I walk away as soon as I cash it out. Its like 10 minutes literally and then I went home already. I guess when you become matured and experienced, you will really learn when to walk out and quit early and sleep very happy because you have won. If I have stayed, I believed I will lose it all together with my bankroll.

Absolutely, we really don't know when our luck will end and most of us really think that it will continue and will not quit then suddenly the losing streak begins and now we are trap, we can't control our emotions and we want to get back what we have before the losing streak. And then the cycles started. And we can't really stop until the last drop of our bitcoin is swept. And then regretting our decision on not quitting early on when we are winning and now thinks that tomorrow we well try our luck again but then, we lose everything.

It's either putting an amount for the limitation of time when you gamble or putting a short amount of time so that when it ticks, you are now of to go. That's why we need to set our limits and follows it. If we play without putting some bars, even we won we can still lose. Unless all we just want is to play and didn't mind the money involved, then don't set rules just do what you want.

Sometimes when I play and I'd already enjoy the game, I still continue to play even if I am losing, but when I've already know that I am losing what I can't afford to lose and I immediately stop and not to play again so my loses will not increase.

This is a matter of self-discipline and self control when you do gamble in the games. Because if you have this things, you can also control your winning and losses of money in each round of the games.

That is correct. The best way to avoid an addiction is to have self-control. Without it then a gambler will just send money every time he losses all his money in the first deposit. They also try to chase their losses and end up being more buried in losses than when they started chasing their losses. I think without self-control, you are doomed to fail in gambling.

Several times played a casino, pair of one times in Blackjack and pair of one times in roulette. Lost, but lost the not pot of moneys, that is why however it is lucky me in gaming.

Yes if course I set myself a certain limit for gambling, I've learned my lesson when I tried gambling and wasn't thinking my money would be gone in an instant because I really thought I'd be winning and gaining more than losses but in reality it was the opposite. I loss all my money in just two games and I tried to win it back but couldn't win back the losses. So I told myself to really set myself a limit the next time I gamble and luckily I maintained it until now.

If someone is bad at handling emotions then gambling can be really fatal for him. I admire those gamblers who know when to quit the game and they do not stumble on their decisions. In the beginning, it can be a little hard or may be very hard but with time things come under control. I have come across many such gamblers and I am happy he is one of them.

I don't think so, because if a gambler is addicted in gambling, no matter how much limitations he is going to set for himself, he will still going to gamble and gamble as long as he have the money, he will find a way just to spoiled himself in gambling. yes but we need to try hard to obey our rule for self discipline and self control because if we are in the middle of the games, we are only attracted to continue the games without listen to ourself. but if we are get to use it, then i think we can stop the games in any times.

I always set up a limit and decide which funds I can afford to lose and I won't feel bad about losing it.

I'm sorry but you are mistaken. It is already well established in the scientific community that gamble can create addiction if not well managed. Some of it's physiologic mechanisms are very similar to the ones created by drugs. For some people professional help is needed, and determination is just not enough. You may say it's easier to get an addiction with drugs, you are correct, but you can't say that gambling can't create addiction, because it can. That miss-belief can prevent people from getting the help they need, because they will start blaming themselves, and thinking they can do it alone, but in some cases they just cant.

to quit such a thing is both very difficult but it seems to me that gambling addiction is easier to stop because actually we don't need professionals. but from some of my friends who have interacted with a addict gambling or drug it needs the same thing to stop so nothing is easier or harder.
