If you have limit that doesnt mean you are preventing anything at all. If you are still gambling, you are still exposing yourself to every risk that gambling had. If you think you are limiting and preventing it , no you are wrong on that. The only way to prevent and limit it is to stop gambling, that means complete stop at all cost

There is no doubt that you are exposing yourself to a lot of risk already when gambling but as long as you understand those risk and still gamble anyway, then you will be the one to explain what you find interesting in gambling normally. However, the worst part of the situation is to ever gamble without placing some limit. This is the worst part for anyone. As long as you are not considering the aspect of easily getting a filled day trying to recover losses from a lot of emotional eruption, then the person is already taking the wrong path.

I will definitely set a limit on how much i should bring and the limit of money i will lose before i go gamble, i do not want to see a scenario where i am overspend borrowing money form loan house or credit cards debt build up in the end my wife or my parents need to help me settle the mess that i create, i am a gambler and not a messy creator.

Overspending always hurt beacuse in anticipation of making more money people forget that they can lose out full money as well in gambling and thus one needs to play for fun and not to make it a money making machine which can be harmful.

and don't forget to not borrow money from the house because it will be difficult to us to pay back the money. we cannot always win the games so we must think twice about borrowing money and don't use your credit or debit cards load more money because no matter how much money you bring in the gambling games, it will end up by losing all of your money. setting a limit in a gambling game is always good as long as you can control yourself so you don't have any problem to leave the place in anytime.

Yeah, one should have the planning like you because if he would not be having enough money with him, definitely he would quit gambling after losing all the amount he brought rather than standing by a side and wasting his time. Thats one of the reason why people gamble as well because they dont want to suffer from any financial issue. Kinda misleading if you ask me about it but alot of people think of it like that thats why they gamble. Having limit or no limit at all doesnt matter because everytime we gamble that means we should be ready to lose our money

Of course I do! Even though I'm not gambling a lot these days, I always set up limits for myself while doing so. I always enter with a certain amount in my mind and almost always spend that sum of money, the times that I spend more that that sum are probably the ones which I won something more than I imagined playing. Yes, a lot of limitations like for gambling, if you're in gambling you really know what are they, and what this limitations you have to get away of your self. If you're a gambling person you really know how to limit of yourself to put away some of addictions.

Yeah in-fact, the first step before even starting to gamble is to always set those limits for yourself and be disciplined enough not to over step them. I said that because it is one easy thing to set limits and it is another thing to stick to those limits. Gambling comes with a lot of impulses and it takes those discipline to be able to caution self not to derail from the initial plan or limit you have set for yourself. Absolutely right. People who don't put limitations are the one who's addicted because they don't want anything or anyone interrupt them from playing and sometimes losses isn't a big deal for them. Whenever I play, I made sure that this certain amount will be just for playing and even if I lose or win I still stop if I already spend my budget for that night. It's hard but it's a test how far you can control, even temptations are everywhere.

LOL. Actually that's one of the reason why people become addicted to gambling. They all started to enjoy and have some fun, but they think of their losses that's why they go back and play again. And the cycle continues and before you knew it, you are already heavily into gambling and playing not for fun but for profits already. As fas as limits, Yes, in the last years, I've been practicing to limit myself, just bring enough money in a traditional casino and left my wallet and all my cards at home. For online gambling, I just deposited what I can afford to lose and then quit when my bankroll is busted.

Yes for many gamblers it is for fun,but we can't deny the fact that gambling is somehow can be a source of income  more specially if you are very lucky person.For me i set up limitations because i know too much of everything is dangerous.It can be an addiction.
