The more onions in your wallet the more profitable it is to keep it open all the time.

Actually I am positively impressed by the onions now and then dropping to my wallet because of staking. You are just sitting on your PC working and suddenly an onion (sometimes just a slice of an onion) appears from nowhere and at actual prices you have a few bucks more.

If I understand correctly, staking is only possible if the wallet is connected to the Internet. Running my PC 24/7 is not an option for me, so I am afraid no staking for me. But there will be plenty of other people doing the staking for the benefit of the network.

You can still stake. Staking is like a lottery. Your weight / network weight is the chance that you find the next block. To improve your odds you should combine all you coins into 1 input. That way you get 1 big ticket instead of several small. You will receive the same amount of onions (if you stake before max weight), but it will improves your odds.

I've noticed that staking works perfectly also if you are not connected to the Internet all time. I'm not all the time. But of course you should connect now and then, possibly often.

Move the mouse over the signature and you can see in the lower status bar of your browser all links with the id's.

Still a long way to go until the 40th airdrop (not sure if we stop there ). By Q4, we may have DeepSeend with DeepOnion which might help increase it's value.

So, I've been watching the: https://deeponion.org/stats.html

site to see if it updated where my coins were. It seems to have bugged out, I moved some coins (40) and it didn't show up yesterday. This is under 10% of my coins.

Today it says I only have 53% remaining in my account.. when I have over 90%.

I hope this data is not what is being used to calculate if I'm eligible to be in the airdrop as it is currently a misrepresentation.

EDIT: Actually the change from a transaction went to a different address, I moved it back to my proper wallet address.

For anyone else who has moved coins, check that the 'change' from the transaction is back in your main address...

stats may not be exactly correct but gives more or less some data

Thanks, they're actually spot on for me! The misrepresentation was because change went to a different address, I moved the change back and within 15 minutes the site was up to date and on the money, it's working well

Blitzkitten, to avoid this in the future:

Go to Settings > Display and check "display coin control features", then when spending the coins, put in a custom change address as your original airdrop wallet.  That way the change goes right back into your wallet and you don't have to resend the change with a new transaction.

It's been said many times, they only respond at official forums. But, regardless you did break a clearly stated rule.

The only way I can see this rule softened is if you contacted dev team before going inactive.
