The trick is that newer versions of Windows do not allow you to search .dat files inside AppData by default. Damn Windows! So it took me a while to find out. If you've run other wallets (related to other coins) in your PC you'll probably find more wallet.dat files inside C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Roaming\

How can I import a wallet backup?

DeepOnion wallet's wallet file is stored by default in: C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Roaming\DeepOnion\wallet.dat.

In order to import a backup from one PC to another:

1) Run DeepOnion wallet on the old PC -> File -> Backup wallet
2) Save the file as wallet.dat
3) Copy that file to the new PC in C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Roaming\DeepOnion\wallet.dat

Do we know yet where deeponion will be traded first. Some small exchange like yobit oder novaexchange or some of the major alt exchanges like bittrex and poloniex?
The 10% holdings for the developers....how many developers are participants to that stash?

... aaaaaaand now another connection issue here. The wallet doesn't connect to the TOR network.

* I have whitelisted it on Windows' firewall.

* I already added that DeepOnion.conf file in AppData as described in the OP. Still no luck.

* TOR Browser works fine in the same PC.

* Another PC in the same LAN doesn't connect either.

Why does that link not work properly? Check out the date 07/13/2017, that's when 1st distribution happened for first 100 something users on their official site.

 To avoid quick dumps, all accounts receiving distributions will need to keep 90% of the coins received on the account, during the whole distribution/airdrop period. Any move results greater than 10% of the airdropped coin on the account will disqualify the account from receiving more coins in the future distributions. Coins received from other means such as mining, bought from exchange etc cannot be limited and can be freely traded.
