yes, that is the userid number. yours is 85150

It should be 0 in front as system need 6 digit number.
085150 is correct.
Mine was also 85138 and have to change to 085138 and then was ok.

Looks like I'm a little too late for the airdrops so I'll just get my coins the old fashioned way.

Concerning your wallet syncing issues you will need to use the config file, which you can also find at the official webside of deeponion or at the deepcoin community tutorial. Concerning participation of the airdrops it is right, your user is to "young" to particippate. But you can join the deeponion community, which is providing from time to time also some little onion giveaways. It was really a low low low level scam, but i agree DeepOnion attract lot of attention.
So we are to be prepared this is only a start

We have started a Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief Fund over at DeepOnion to help those currently in desperate need of our assistance. I don't believe, that you read the whole thread, if you come to the conclusion, that you are to late for the airdrops.
Why do you think you are late? You are blessed, because you joined before 12. July 2017, get your chance.
