I bought most of my coins at 2$ and now the price is getting too low, is it safe to buy more? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) In a year from now, someone will be reading this post of yours and wish that they were the ones that bought most of their Onions at $2. Don't worry about it. I wish I bought most of my Ethereums at $12. That's funny back in the day I have sold 500 ETH for 12$ each, because I thougth it was too high already, sometimes learning is painfull I have some many similar, painful examples. Ethereum, the simple mention of it bring a painful and negative feeling through my body. Everytime I go to coinmarketcap and I'm forced to see it. I won't be making the same mistake with this one. Want hear a pain full story, a good friend of mine sold 36000 btc for less than a dollar each, at the time he thought he made a killing as it was all just cpu mining, sadly this day it was the worst decision of his life. Unfortunately no one can foresee the future if only we had them crystal balls ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) another vivid example of a useful life lesson, proving that the main thing is patience.

I'm seeing more and more people getting blacklisted. Wondering if this is due to manual screening or is bot flagging? Having a big ban list is not the best look for us but it does help with integrity if those are valid.

I'm pretty disappointed with the Onion team. I have always posted so many different threads and threads on a daily basis. Until yesterday I was regularly inserted and I also had the 15 Onions in tribute but I'm excluded for unknown reasons. My signature is updated and my Onion address is marked. Why this?

Maybe you forgot to change the XXXs in the signature to your bitcointalk user ID?

This coin has a really broken way to distribute the coins!
IT will be a failure as soon as possible, the same as XRB
Ahhhhhh, another cheater that was caught out and now banned from the airdrop? Amazing how you would still post here and give your game away. Sad that you could not stick to the rules and profit together with the community.

Though I've only seen one person mentioning this, could just be a forum bug. I was going crazy yesterday because I was black listed, but an hour or so later everything was back to normal. So keep checking.

I think it's a good decision to blacklist cheaters and not accept new users who are suspicious.I think the people who dumped their onions are those who don't have patience to wait for the review by the deeponion devs.We don't need these types of people anyway in our deeponion community.do we?They prove the point that they are only in the airdrop for profit and not the benefit of the deeponion project. They will dump sooner or later so it's better they do it now rather then on later rounds. It will only help us the Hodlers and true believers in deeponion. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Avoid all the fud and carry on Hodling onions and spreading deeponion to your friends and if you get blacklisted don't panic and let the devs know on the official forum and they will review your account and well,if you can't wait that long enough then you don't deserve to be in the community. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

I posted in the banned support thread and reading through it, it looks as if the dev is reapproving about half the accounts, so I suspect this is a bot flagging. I agree that the big ban list does not look good for us, but there are likely tons of scammers trying to angle shoot on top of a some type of issue with the bot. I guess I'll wait and find out.

The price is already at 0,00042 again ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I am not worried, I will still gonna hold because that price you see now may never be seen again as we start our next pump. The last time it pumped it reach up to $5 and that would conclude that anything is possible here even in just a short period of time, just hold it.

Part of the problem is that people have no patience this days. NEM is a perfect example of patience paying off. 4million NEM tokens per participant were shared to those who showed interest in January 2014 (airdrop). Now did they all hold their coins? Ofcourse not, but to the 1% that held on, 4 million coins is equivalent to 1.28million dollars as of today. That is a space of 3 years.
Some of you have been working your day jobs for 5 years, and you still haven't saved upto $100,000 cumulatively.
This is just an example where by a community stood its ground and saw a project succeed.
I read through the early thread of NEM and trust me, most of the things happening now have happened in the past. Its human nature.
Patience is truly a virtue as not everyone has it. I just thought I should say this. Might give someone a better perspective. My 2 cents.
Let me assume a role of advocatus diaboli here. The fact, that NEM price has risen to current level doesn’t mean that people who sell it early made a wrong decision. I’m not saying they did the right decision (I haven’t been around back then) but the price appreciation alone doesn’t automatically imply they did the wrong one. If you have ever spent some time on the poker strategy forums, you would notice one interesting thing. If someone asks for a strategy advice, he always (and I mean always) omits the results of that particular hand. This omission is deliberate. Final results are irrelevant when assessing your decision making process as all of your decisions are made before final result is known. This is true for a poker, but it’s also true for investing. In other words, when one is looking back and trying to review his past decisions he has to ask the following question: did I made a right decision based on all the information that was know to me when I was making that decision? You can’t look back at your decision and evaluate it based on some future information. I mean you can, but this is not a very constructive way to analyze things

You can’t look back at your decision and evaluate it based on some future information. I mean you can, but this is not a very constructive way to analyze things I sold my Nems, it was dumb looking back at it. I spent so much time with that coin, then life took over. Coin was released and I remember feeling that it was hurt by the delays. And then people were dumping, might as well get $300 for it. And even at the time it hurt selling it because of the time spent following it. Sold it and that big part of my life was over. Because I didn't want to feel that I missed out on $300 that I didn't even need. So if you don't need the money, hold. So what if the price goes to zero, that $300 wasn't going to do anything for you. Keep the memory of the process, don't be greedy.

Another way to look at it is this. This is a signature campaign, in a way, and if you sell 9% of your coins for example, you get a decent amount of money per week of signature work. At the end of the campaign, there may or may not be life changing amounts of money. If you quit now, you will never know...when was the last time you participated in such a coin where there was so much potential upside ?
