Hi, i want to ask a question about pos wallet mining .yesterday , i have 3300 onions in my wallet ,i started open my wallet and staking ,i got about 7onions a day ,but today ,i just got 0.95 onions. is it just about luck? or someting esle? did it mean if i have more onions in the wallet ,that stake more onions ,by the way ,i open the wallet 24 hours a day.
wait, 10% yearly is 0.027% day so with 3000 you should get 0.80 and not 7 coins if i calculate right I think he is either lying or just mistaken. I have +- 3500 onions and I have never gotten even close to 7 onions in one day from staking. He is not lying, i have only 603 coins in my wallet and i got 6.14438356 ONIONS in staking on 29th august 2017, whose details are given below: Status: 21192 confirmations Date: 8/29/2017 14:47 Source: Generated Credit: 6.14438356 ONION Net amount: +6.14438356 ONION i was also amazed when i got that much coins in single staking and hope that i got same everyday but now i am getting .70 onions on an average. If you don't hit a stake for a few days or even a week than it can be possible to get a big stake like yours maybe because your wallet only runs for a few hours a week. Or you get smaller stakes on a more regular basis. Look at this formula from function GetProofOfStakeReward https://github.com/deeponion/deeponion/blob/78a5bf3a8c85dd2b701fa6720e1c2c7f18281a14/src/main.cpp#L1071 nSubsidy = 10 * nRewardCoinYear * nCoinAge / 365; More nCoinAge - greater reward.

Wow, I'm gone for two days and now Deep Onion has over 1000 pages. That's awesome. Hurricane Irma didn't do too much damage down here in Miami, I lost power for a day and a half. Now back to getting more $ONIONs.

Hope all are well from the Keys as that flood prone area took the direct hit.

Very nice artwork is thrown around. This should spark users to start media campaign II. I hope that DeepSend can come soon to show making a DeepSend payment in real life.

it seems that dumpers have sold out their Onions. This week the price is stable. That's very good and our community can focus on the development of this good project now. Anyone know that how many developers we have now? Looking forward the coming iOS and Android wallet in Q4

I can't find any news about Deep Send on these threads. When is it supposed to launch?

There are currently 4 full time developers, and about 10 supporting staff.

I can't find any news about Deep Send on these threads. When is it supposed to launch? No launch date as yet. I quoted the piece of information on DeepSend from the weekly newsletter. This week's DeepOnion feature talk: DeepSend I know a lot of you have been asking about this feature and are very keen to learn more. Well, you asked and DeepOnion delivered! Thank you to lead Dev @monocolor for his contribution to this piece. Last week we discussed the Tor feature and learned that it only secures the network, meaning that your IP is protected and your peers won't know your IP. However, as discussed, transactions are not protected, meaning that in the explorer/blockchain you can still see all the tx from all addresses, and can relate the tx from source to destination. There are a few methods that can be used to hide the transaction traces. The most common one is the "mixer", where you send your coins to a pool (like an exchange) and the pool will forward the same amount of coins to your destination. Since the pool has many addresses, viewed from the blockchain, you'll not be able to determine the source and destination of the real transaction. Another method is witnessed in zerocoin or zerocash, where you can burn some coins and generate the same amount of new coins from a different addresses (minted), thus people can't connect these coins to your usual address. The DeepSend will use a multi-signature method to hide the transaction trace. It is one of the true trustless systems that was first developed in Supercoin (you can read an extremely detailed technical explanation of this technology here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1351548.0). What is important here is that we are adopting a tried and tested technology that is trusted by existing users. We will leverage this service and develop an enhanced version of it providing further anonymity, speed and trust. Thus with DeepSend, our network and tx will be both secured and efficient. Specific details on DeepOnion's implementation will be discussed at a later stage (we are currently testing and do not want to comment until it's ready and tested). Furthermore, the Dev team are currently working on a new DeepTrust feature. The DeepTrust feature will precede DeepSend and will feature in next week's newsletter!

Anyone else having problems reaching Novaexchange? Been trying for 3 hours now. So sick and tired of this exchange... --ypsi I can open the page but the registration is closed for several days now. I hope they fix their issues soon because DO volume is dying right now. Not sure when are they going to open it again. Hopefully they're back to normal within the week.

Hi there, I have nothing against deeponion but your french moderator spam our french altcoin thread "what's the next best crypto" : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355574.5000 (then the second page). We are around 10 guys to tell him to stop, he have his own french thread there : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2060784.0 , but he don't care about what we say and spam again. Please ask him to stop spam us, he have is own thread and don't need to disturb the whole altcoin FR. Thank you.
