same as me bro. this new airdrop model is a big waste of time. The should have capped the new entrants to at least between 30-50 Onions to make our time posting and shilling their coin for a week even worth it. I got 7 onions as well and it literally looks like a joke to me.

New or old entrants don't matter because it's based on the amount you hold.
For the most part, anyone with a multiplier is putting in work above and beyond the call of the simple airdrop rules, and they deserve everything they get in my mind because all of these people are doing wonders for the Deep Onion brand and they're alleviating the burden of the dev team.
At a high level, the math was already posted when the new rules dropped. Early estimates made it seem pretty clear that your airdrop likely wouldn't be more than 10% of your stack size if you didn't have a multiplier, so I don't know what you were expecting. You had enough info to know better before you even started participating in this week's airdrop.
Listen, I know 8 onions seems laughable, but step back for a second and realize that if you got 8 onions for holding 100 onions thats a weekly 8% return for FREE. Over 24 more weeks that would be well over a 200% return for FREE + 10% staking, plus Onions for Deep Points. THIS is before we even factor in the likelihood that Deep Onion price could exponentially increase.
If you can't afford more onions right now, one way or another you need to pay your dues and your season will come. This isn't the only bounty program on this forum and many more to come over the years. Seniority in bounty programs is a pretty common thing, so whether you face it here, or in another program, don't think as a jr member you're going to get the most rewards somewhere else. IMO Deep Onion has done a great job of actually leveling the playing field in terms of seniority because rank no longer matters.
It's impossible to satisfy everyone, so there's going to be complaints no matter how the system works. That said, remove the mindset of entitlement, replace it with a mindset of gratitude, take a deep breath and think about this thing rationally for a second. How much can you really complain about something that you control how much you get for free? Forget about what the next person gets and just think about what YOU get for FREE. This is NOT a scenario where you lose
, you control your destiny with DO, you have the freedom to make your airdrop as large as possible. Other programs don't give you the option to determine how large your airdrop will be, THIS ONE DOES. If you don't like it, that's okay, move on.
Don't forget, there are PLENTY of ways you can contribute to build your onions and airdrop multiplier up. There are dedicated posts on DO forum explaining this.
