Friendly reminder, for the bct airdrop participants, Thursdays 05:30 UTC no move period will start. It will last 24 hours. During this time we will use the minimum balance amount seen in the airdrop wallets.
Thank you for pointing that out. I observed this notification in the deeponion forum also. You guys are doing a great job notifying members regularly about anything important. I am loving the new updated rules for this airdrop and I think that deeppoints feature is the best update so far. Eagerly waiting to see the new features like Deepsend and Votecentral soon.

This news is great for BTC. There was a lot off doubt about the hard fork. As you can see right now there is a lot of doubt, because the price went up to $7800 and is back to $7200 again after this news. After, it is not extraordinary either. The Bitcoin has certainly dropped but remains quite elevated anyway. Since all cryptocurrencies are based on Bitcoin, as long as it remains high, the altcoins will have trouble gaining value. Hopefully when the news begins to spread people will switch to quality alts like deeponion. Lets see what happens in the next few days, perhaps investors will see the bull run has ended

asking critical questions and the my earlier post gets deleted.
This airdrops just rewards the rich, its not fair and does not create a good community.
Onion seems to fail in comparison to other private coins like monero.
What would you say if you were joined from the beginning July 2017. Your thoughts on the project would be totally different! If you buy ONIONS you can still get a good part of the airdrop!! You just need 100 to start, and the more ONIONS you hold the more ONIONS you et every Friday! You can also earn ONIONS promoting the DeepOnion project!

I seriously doubt it is only the rich that benefit from the airdrop. It benefits people from all walks of life. This is by far, one of the strongest communities amongst all of the cryptocoin communities.

If that is the kind of thinking you have, then it's like some one who is complaining to the government for the uneven distribution of wealth. I suggest keep on working, participate in the events, there's a lot of give-aways in the forum. I myself was not part of the airdrop, But i keep a good amount of onions. I keep it for staking. and I got some free coins from the events.

And yet here we are on one of the most discussed coins of all time. So glad to be part of all this and we're just getting started. Congrats on over 1800 pages, celebrating it home silently.

Hello,I do have a question ,if I will have in my wallet 9999 coins, the next airdrop do I get approximately 760 coins?
Yeah last airdrop was around 7% intrest. So with 10k coins you will get around 700-750 new coins Still crazy numbers for an airdrop as we are speaking about a juicy $500 addition to your valuable bag, not too bad sorry to be less enthousiastic than you are..... but really not a lot of people have that number of coins in their wallet and are able to benefit to the same extend than BEFORE with previous rules. You will tell me, yeah but now new comers are able to join... yeah right, to get 7-10 ONIONS... what a great reward for the promotion that every one is doing for the coin through the signature campaign and the posting. I am sorry, but with previous rules, I was personally getting over 2.5x more ONIONS per airdrop. That is right, I am not a large bag holders... sorry. I am an average member ;-) At this time, the rules are essentially good for large bags holders and detrimental for average holders and supporters with limited ressources (beeing time or money). I was thinking the new rules would have been good due to less restrictions and larger availability but in fact, the results is clearly not the one it should have been for the vast majority of members. My post was not by any means meant to discredit you. I admit the distribution is quite a bit skewed now but both ways have their advantages and disadvantages.

Will this platform be on the forum or into the wallet? It would be amazing if it was integrated in the wallet. That would be much better than a centralized solution on the forum.

Well it wouldn't be better, it NEEDS to be onchain, you cant centralize this vote on the forum of the coin, that would remove the whole purpose of it... Most coin ive seen that has voting is of course on chain, every DPoS coin requires voting for the delegates and its all done onchain, cannot be done any other way.

I just saw a report segwit2x fork has been cancelled. This is good news for altcoins, we could be seeing DeepOnion return to true value quickly.

I've been apart of many airdrops and believe me when I tell you the current distribution is better than the previous. The previous was important for distributing the initial onions in order to get the ball rolling. The current system is much better b/c it eliminates cheating. If you were here since the beginning you know that alot of people initally used many BCT accounts to get alot of onions and dump them for a quick buck. The team had to spend alot of effort and time in finding and banning these users. The current system doesn't have that problem.

The VoteCentral is an interesting concept and I am not sure, how big the influence of this center should be. It makes sense, that the early supporters of the coin can decide the future direction of the coin; however, this might lead to some disagreement in the community. Regarding the question, if it should be online, on the wallet or on the chain, I currently found all of it appropriate. gigabyted, could you elaborate, why it "HAS" to be on the chain? Are there other altcoin examples of VoteCentrals? How did they approach the issue? What did go right, what did go wrong? I think, we should learn from their successes and mistakes. Kind regards, Halcyon D.

Kind regards, Halcyon D. Well a vote is only valid if you can sign the transaction with your private key (holding your coin), any other way would be unsafe and unrelated to your coins, your private key hold the coins, you vote with it and sign with you're private key to provide a verifiable proof. I haven't check around i think dash has one but im not sure, what im sure is that all DPoS rely on this to vote the delegates for its proof of stake. Voting for a delegate without signing the transaction with the private key holding your coin could be faked out in many ways... Btw voting online would work if DeepOnion had a system like mew (ethereum) that is basicaly a web based offline client where all the transaction handling is process on the browser but client side (never leave your computer and of course NEVER goes to the server). The only thing that goes on the server is your signed transaction (The vote in this case). Hope this answer your question.

Checked it out its truly amazing how much DO is decentralized, looking at all the data its more widespread than I anticipated it would be at this point in the airdrop.
