I can't believe how many shills are in here the past few days defending Coinpot just because they got THEIR deposit.

There's 157 pages worth of dirt on bitcointalk alone about them; they have no accountability; it's easy for them to do pretty much anything and get away with it.

Saying that everyone claiming "scam" was probably a cheater? get real. People do coin faucets because they're simple; a few clicks and a captcha. I doubt half of coinpot's users could even set up a script, let alone one that wouldn't get your account flagged.

There's 40+ people I've collected from Reddit to try and...brainstorm, I guess. or at least just gather and have a good estimate of everyone who's been screwed over by coinpot.

they actually made some fairly big batches of payments on 1st march (UTC  time)  for each coin - so i would assume these include all the final withdrawals

It's misleading to say they made big batches. The size of the transaction might've been big but the payments were for really small amounts. I find it hard to believe that only people with around $5 worth of BTC had payments pending.

anyone still not received a requested withdrawal has probably had their account flagged, and shouldnt expect to receive it

That does not appear to be the case. Their selection on who will receive payment is based on how much funds are available in their hot wallet. They don't even need to bother with these arbitrary account suspensions. If they refill their wallets with more than a few hundred dollars then you might be lucky enough to receive payment otherwise you're just among the many who are being scammed.

I would find it extremely hard to believe my account got flagged.

I never used faucets and was 100% affiliate income.

Again, I'm not 100% sure if it got processed or not... I'm leaning towards no though.

It'd be nice to still have access to the account history.  O well.

I will explain for LAST TIME (review this or other forum for even further info):

1. Coinpot.co paid small quantities to users but the final big quantities will never be received (but remember they had LOT OF PAID ADS within their faucet sites).
2. People started to talk about coinpot.co as a very good site to learn about crypto and get some BTC for free (remember again the PAID ADS within their faucet sites).
3. Coinpot.co realized that they are growing unexpectedly and started to introduce its own token (WITH ZERO VALUE OUTSIDE THE SITE).
4. There never was an official token pair or price to compare, and the changes to/from BTC were extremely weird/random values (some people won but LOT OF PEOPLE LOST).
5. Coinpot.co started a new multiplier game (starting APPARENTLY PROVABLY FAIR) as there is many other gambling sites with this ALWAYS UNPROVABLY FAIR feature.
6. People started to talk about systems to get profit of this multiplier game starting with small quantities (at this point some users started to be addicted to coinpot.co).
7. Coinpot.co started a new token based challenges system and a new lottery game, with prizes in TOKENS for the users (remember that the token is USELESS out of coinpot.co).
8. The challenges system were MANIPULATED every month: unexpected errors at last month days made your position getting down from top (and stopping you to collect TOKENS).
9. Coinpot.co started a VIP rewards program. That program was OBVIOUSLY UNSUSTAINABLE (nothing to explain here).
10. There were some fooled investors who deposited BTC to get into the VIP rewards program. Some months after this, BTC price had increased a lot (BUT NOT THE COINPOT TOKEN).
11. As many users told, coinpot.co started to flag/suspend user accounts without any reason (I've never realized about this), but this should have warned the investors.
12. Coinpot.co announces that they closes the site and ALL withdrawals will be completed (NOBODY BELIEVES THIS).
13. The investors reconvert their tokens to BTC with a very high % of BTC LOST with conversion and BTC rally.
14. Small users withdraw the small quantities successfully but investors and lottery winners never receive their payments.

... and at this point, there is unbelievable that there is people who is still talking good things about coinpot.co.

Coinpot.co business was degradated into a long term exit scam. There is no worse blind than the one who does not want to see.

Remember: People talking good things about coinpot.co might be people having business in faucet-referral programs or bet/gambling world, and they are interested in caughting other people into their business.

GOOD RESUME ! THANK YOU
let me just add one of my theory : the payout seen on blockchain transaction seems very suspect to me month ago, because they are all incremental, I think coinpot paid itself to "fake" withdrawers address (the addresses belong to coinpot itself)

>>People talking good things about coinpot.co might be people having business in faucet-referral programs or bet/gambling world, and they are interested in caughting other people into their business.

remember who is always talking good about coinpot here every time : Grahamlyons. Check his older posts !

it was my 2 cents.

If they were legit I don't think they would be using the same name as Coinpot. Having the same name as another faucet site might get you traffic but it is just confusing and not good for their brand. If anybody decides to sign up for this site I would suggest not depositing any money with them.

Scam, not sure but definitely trying to piggyback off Coinpot's name. Even the WHOIS information showed registrant country as GB, compared to the original's AU.

For these kind of new sites, I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole.

I take that as good news and it perfectly in line with my earlier question of what their future business partners would think if they were pulling an exit scam here.
Looks like they did consider that as such a big problem that they even reactivated their own thread in this forum to assure everyone they will still get paid.

My LTC payment is still pending (equivalent to 30$), time is running and i'm afraid they will never pay after the end of month.

Maybe it helps you figuring out where in the cue you are if I tell you, my LTC withdrawal to wallet from jan 29 came through today.

Hmm, thanks for info.
I also made a LTC withdrawal on Feb 1.
So I guess I have to wait at least 1-2 more days  Wink

Deposit Confirmed

You've received 0.40301392 LTC in your Binance account.

Respect to Coinpot for coming to Bitcointalk and explaining about backlog of payments, I didn't expected it.
I'm still waiting for my Dogecoin to arrive, but jow I'm more confident that I will get it.

Don't worry, surely you'd get it soon enough.

IMO, one huge mistake CoinPotty made was not being open to criticisms. If it's a one-man show, hire someone else to handle the requests:
Quote
This particular thread was created as the official announcement (ANN) thread when CoinPot was first opened. However we soon closed the thread following a number of toxic and personally threatening messages received, and moved to full support simply via our helpdesk email. Also for these reasons we will not engage in any discussions on those other threads.

Source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2007856.msg56492639#msg56492639

I mean when you open a service, you have to prepare for such feedback. Good or bad, they help your business.

And with that thread locked again, there's no way anyone's able to communicate with that person sadly.

BITCOIN CASH

Remaining pending withdrawals: 0 BCH

I've been reading here quietly for a long time... I first decided to not join in to all the complaints about not being paid, because I understand that it might be a bad moment in time to shut down a faucet site like this, with all the coin values going up and hundreds of thousands of users want to cash out at the same time.... I can imagine that they might be in trouble cashing out all of the users at once and need more time for this. I always hoped they get their communication straight and that they would send a clear signal to us: "don't worry, you will get paid!". Now, that they have done this, I will no longer wait and raise my voice:

First of all: I'm no coinpot hater. I've been with coinpot.co for several years. I always got my withdrawals, when requested, mostly within a timely manner. until february.
I haven't done anything wrong, did not break their TOS, only did what I did for years: deposited a fair amount of money in their system and took part in faucets, multiplier, and lottery. They made a lot of money with my gambling, but this is perfectly fine as it was really that: gambling with real dollars and what I lost, that's what they gain. period. I deemed them being a legit business nonetheless, given the volumes that passed their system every day, withdrawals that passed the blockchain reliably FOR YEARS, and finally due to the fact, that they paid me out every single time since 2017, when I requested it.

As said - until february.
I'm still awaiting my last withdrawal of high volumes of BTC, LTC, and BCH.

Otherwise as stated in their thread, not all of the requested BCH were being paid as of yet - that's why I want to speak up now.
I have proof that my crypto amount of 26.97 BCH has been requested on 1. feb. 2021 and has been PENDING since then.
I have proof of other withdrawals waiting in BTC and LTC at a similar FIAT value. LTC was requested on 1. feb. 2021, BTC was requested on 24. feb 2021.
Plus, I have proof that on 1. feb. 2021 I owned more than 330.000.000 tokens which I then converted and split up in multiple steps into three different chunks of crypto BTC, LTC and BCH of an even value. I'd like to mention, that the conversion value of the tokens reflected what I expected: 10,000 token ~= 1 USD. Conversion was no problem, and the value of the received coins then reflected that exchange rate.

@coinpotoffical:
since no transaction has been shown up at my requested withdrawal address, at least the amount of PENDING BCH withdrawals can't be 0, so your claim regarding full payout of BCH backlog is false. please double-check it. maybe my two withdrawal requests of BTC and LTC are still included in the "withdrawal backlog", the BCH amount clearly isn't.

until the last moments of the coinpot.co website all of these last withdrawal requests of mine were PENDING, so they obviously didn't get canceled, at least as far as I know.

are there any other people waiting for a withdrawal of more than 100 million tokens or am I the only idiot?
