I think bitcoin can teach the kids to save, but not 100%. Because introducing bitcoin to the kids nowadays will be harder for us, you know kids today are so smart and they will ask so much questions, so for you to be able to let them save you need to explain everything about it. For me it can help, but its good if you will just tell them that you will invest their money, and that's it. Smiley

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

no they are too young to involve in bitcoin and besides you didn't know how long bitcoin would last, and you can teach them on how to save money for their future purposes, that is kids they didn't know the value of money yet so they spend it, if your a good teacher you can lecture them about saving it is good the other one is a saver so it is not hard to lecture but believe me when they got a job they will know on how to spent their money specially if they will have family

The same is not true of kids: their entire lives have included the online world, so it is as “real” to them as the physical world. The idea of purely electronic money not only isn't problematic, it is expected. So young people are ripe to embrace Bitcoin, and this openness can help parents teach them some .

yes, bitcoin can be used to teach children about saving and tell them about the advantage of saving because by saving good for the future
I personally don’t think so that bitcoin is that much easy thing that it can be understood by the kids and that kids can learn anything good from it. Bitcoin is really a complex thing and it is not at all possible for kids to develop a good understanding regarding this thing.

Bitcoin can no doubt teach us about saving and all that stuff but for that one needs to be mature enough so that he can understand the things in a better way.

It would more likely teach kids about the value of money rather than saving which eventually teaches them to save.

So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?

You just try to teach them about saving and then investing their savings. This the most proper way to teach them Bitcoin for me. If you show them a very childlike way of explaining these, I think they will learn to start saving. You give them a little example. Say, if they save $100 and then put such savings into crypto there is a possibility that it will become $500 or $1,000 in a matter of six months. So they could take their starting investment in $100 and then spend it but leave the rest for it will still grow more.

Bitcoin can be a good reference to help educate kids about money
and saving. But it would be quite complicated for them unless you
make them understand on simpler terms. While your at it you could
teach or influence them about currency and investments too.
I do believe it can be done but it depends entirely on your approach,
method, strategy and patience to do so.

Bitcoin may help not only kids but also everyone in knowing to how to save money. Kids needs to understand first the basics and how bitcoin works. There could be a little problem along the process since just a few people understands bitcoin the right way but it depends on how we will explain to them.

Also, not only bitcoin can make your two cousins save money. It all depends on each person's consciousness, and you can change their prejudices by giving them a small amount of money to spend in a few days. If they do not know how to save, they will suffer and will have a lesson to remember. If they keep repeating themselves, they will know what to do with a small amount of money.

As we know that bitcoin is for every level of society even for kids its very best if kids start to know about saving so it will help them in their future in Japan they are starting to teach bitcoin in school because they know it’s very important for them and bitcoin is becoming a future currency so I think it’s should be started in every school to teach about bitcoin to kids if the kids know about saving so it’s for can country as well.

Not really. It is good that kids knows how to save money or food or whatever. But while still a child let us first let them to just enjoy life since it is their right. Their mind are also set about playing and not by working. They will not enjoy their life if they have no happy memories to throwback if they are already an old man or woman. If we want to really help them by teaching them how to save then let ys wait for the righ time. There is always a right time for everything

I think, somehow yes. Using and getting engage into Bitcoin cryptocurrency can teach young kids and even teenagers the essence of saving since that was the simplest and easiest way that was possible to earn profit even you do not intend to work and exert much effort because it is just a matter of time that Bitcoin rises and holding some quantity which includes saving purposes makes Bitcoin more beneficial so I can gradually state that Bitcoin can do really teach kids about saving.

To teach children is need a lot time but to teach them to earn maybe could be possible. But it take time to teach them.

In my opinion, bitcoin is not as simpler thing as most of us thinks of it to be. It is really a complex thing and you really need to study a lot in order to learn the basics related to that of bitcoin.

In case of children and kids, you cannot rely on bitcoin as bitcoin cannot be understood by the kids at this much early stage of their lives. You can try out some other ways to make them understand the importance of saving.

I don't think it is the best way, but I can say that it is one good way to save. Not just to save but even to invest. It is good to teach the younger generation today about saving and investing so that in the near future they will spend their money wisely. But be careful and parental guidance is advisable, because it is not good that in their early age they are being controlled by money.

Children when entering at their teenage let them explore the net and introduce this bitcoin thing to them, the future of each children is with the help of the parents so let them know what they can do while they are young, letting them play online is not a practical thing.

Well, kids do not really think about money and wealth in their life, all they care is the toys they play, the friends they play with and the parents that take care of them all the time. I think if you teach kids about saving, that will help them mature in the way they think about things and people around them. But I think they cannot stop themselves still from buying toys they like.

I have 3 growing sons, and I slowly begin to teach the senior (6 years) financial literacy. To explain this through bitcoin is still too early, at the same time I use the methods described in Stanford marshmallow experiment. I think saving in bitcoin is some like that.

Maybe not or yes, because as kids its hard for them to handle and understand about bitcoin on how it works.Or their parents maybe can save for them. But its not bad to educate them how to save, and teach them about bitcoin as they grow, while they are kids they are already familiar with it, and when they grow up, its not hard for them to understand and they are already open minded about it, and become easy for them to handle bitcoin not only to save but to invest as well.
