Why is scryptenthusiast so angry with the NYCoin community for exposing his endless scams?  It's not hard to figure out -- it's the money honey  Shocked

In January 2019 1 BTC would get you 700M NYC.  10*700M = 7 Billion NYC.

In January of 2019, under one of your aliases, you posted a screenshot with most of the info blacked out except for the value of deposits in BTC.
You can see by the number of decimals you had to black out in the left-hand balance column that the bulk of the deposits were in NYC.
You can also see that all of your NYC is in sell-orders by the zero value in the center table balances.

It's hard to tell if there are enough digits to get into the billions, for sure there were enough to get into the 100's of millions, and you certainly had the equivalent of 7 Billion NYC in value on the exchange depending on how accurate Yobit's estimation was.

WHAT IF one or more of the EXCHANGES used one of the malware-infected wallets uploaded to Community Leadership controlled Github to enable 51% attack vector?

 Any possibility of that scenario?   Roll Eyes

Anyways, it was only temporary disruption and price/liquidity suppression. There is only so much harm someone can manage to pull-off with OPEN-SOURCE code. NYC gets its mojo back this very special Valentine's Day...  Cool

It's time to REMOVE James Burrell II and Charles Fulnecky from NYCoin.

MrSlosh, LTA and hobbyist appear to be THE REAL DEAL!

I will start going through my posts that have lumped NYC Devs with Community Leadership and change all criticism to "Community Leadership". The rats are getting flushed out (finally!) and the NYC Devs as they now stand deserve respect.

Wrong again scryptenthusiast.  You can try to rewrite history but everything is exhaustively documented with actual research at https://medium.com/@newyorkcoin/timeline-analysis-and-response-to-recent-51-attack-941da50d625c

And sure go after the only guy that was raising an alarm during the 51% attack and pushed for more transparency with the entire community, instead of a small group of insiders. Sure, don't go after the guy who coded the fork(slosh), and don't go after the guys who have been in crypto since 2014 (scryptenthusiast and hobbyist) and arguably should have been the first to recognize the attack, go after the guy who helped manage the community site deployment and took the time to track down, with the help of github, how the malware was injected and added external safeguards to prevent it from ever happening again. Again, you and hobbyist were arguably the guys (especially you Mr. Guardian) who should have been raising the alarm but instead you were all  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Look the emails where you were colluding with everyone except the guys you keep calling out have been circulating privately for more than a year now, so it's common knowledge what you tried to do with your so called "Advisory Board" and the private "Command Center" channels on discord.  I'll see if I can find someone that still has access to them so I can post them here.

FWIW, your smear campaign is a common tactic for criminals and fraudsters such as yourself, accuse the whistleblower, so I'm not surprised.  Well the evidence is still there, and even though it might make some people uncomfortable it might as well be added to the mountain of evidence against your crimes that will live here indefinitely.

Stay tuned.

The community has decided on the roadmap, and has adjusted it accordingly as we saw what is needed.  Created the flyers, translated the pamphlets in various languages.
The fact that you dont see where the community is headed with our efforts with onboarding and the technical updates shows me that you havent really participated with the community but rather made a judgement from your narrow perspective.  The community has spoken about education multiple times, this is what will truely provide mass adoption.  People need to understand the benefits of the coin and we need to be able to provide security. This has been discussed multiple times as well.
You say things like "we" but the community doesnt feel your support. We need to pay for developers. The advisory board and early miners should assist in this effort if they truly want to see the coin succeed. Unfortunately this isnt the case, funds are being spent on events and other marketing tactics that bring no tangible gains for the coin.  Creates a pump and dump environment, all while the community is trying its best to keep up momentum and recruit members that BRING SOMETHING TO THE TABLE not try to lead in their own direction.
We should be able to create our own mobile and online wallet, but we are collecting donations for coinomi because we dont have the funds to properly pay a developer to get it done.
This is not sustainable and it shows me that you dont see the big picture. Im not in it  for the short game or short gains.  I will not just call us an "advisory board" until it is the truth and there is some kind tangible guidance on the steps we have in front of us, and these steps arent just concentrating on the price for the next 3 to 6 months.
True improvements that help the coin get stronger and stand on its own. Hiring developers, paying for members to produce real work, taking care of the coinomi or other third party issues.  Building out servers for network stability, set up mining pools or create a sustainable mining model for the community to always have nycoin to use for their projects and for contest and bounties.
I have messaged CK about what we need and have received silence in return. Relationships work both ways, you guys cant expect us to come running to your assistance everytime you call when youre mia when we need you.
I have tried to make this work and am not opposed to us working together but i am also not naive and have my limits.  Show me you truely care for the community and what we are trying to accomplish, dont just say it and we will be fine.

I dont mean to be rude or disrespectful. I appreciate your efforts.

Im just failing to see what this advisory board is going to advise? The community has been making all of this progress on its own with no help from CK or the "advisory board".
This isnt the first time we have tried to reach some consensus, there is a lack of trust now.  Seems like CK has tried everything to pull the coin into his corner and now that he realized we are making strides without him there is an "advisory board".  This board has not helped in any of our efforts and has actually tried to sabotage our efforts more than once, by diverting attention or diving into SAVIOR OF THE COIN mode.
The community has spoken to coinomi, negotiated the price down, started a fund raiser, created bounties and contests, on boarded merchants, created a market, a stores site, upgraded to electrum, forked the code, spoke to mining pools, worked on java library, grew our community  internationally, created a vessel for procuring nycoin with paypal.

All while CK and his team is doing what? Going to conferences and saying things that the community has asked multiple times to correct.  Creating centers that dont provide education or space for the community influence.  Why hasnt Charlie come forward to help in any of our efforts, nothing, there hasnt been one project backed by this so called "advisory board".

Until there is something tangible for the community to gain from this collaboration I am against joining someone just to have a facade of an advisory team.  Im not "acting" for anyone. We are either working together or we are not.

The community is open to the public so all are welcome to join us.

Thank you for your time and the opportunity.

1) Only a moron would mine or run an exchange with a daemon they didn't build themselves from source (this is why legitimate operations require a github repo).
2) Only an even bigger moron would fail to check the file with virustotal before downloading or at least to have some sort of virus scanner installed.
3) What if they did?  They would have compromised their system, and joined a botnet, but it would have had zero effect on the blockchain and if they were that stupid they probably already downloaded malware from any one of the dozens of projects that have been exploited, due to the github vulnerability, before it was well known.
4) How is it you have been in blockchain since 2014 but exhibit no comprehension of how things actually work?
5) Do you just continue these "conversations" where you humiliate yourself because you're lonely?

You pretend to have a high-level of pseudo-Blockchain knowledge (govt is trying to play catch-up, I see) but you contributed NOTHING to development. No code contributions, no repositories, no new wallets, yet you want to be memorialized as a #dev of NYC. Your only contribution that will be memorialized will be your fake smiles for the fake news cameras. I'll make sure of that!   Grin

Your primary objective has always been to make sure Charlie K doesn't make a FORTUNE from his "Billions" mined early. You will fail. Watch and weep, sister. Friday starts NYC back on its true path. It's destiny. Its march to the top 10 on CoinMarketCap! Cool

P.S. keep wrangling the cats on discord. Large exchanges like to see a Community supporting new coins they list.  Cheesy

No, just more than you, obviously.  Also none of what I mentioned is unique to blockchain.  Anyone that uses a computer and loads software from open source projects should understand those basic tenants.

WHAT IF one or more of the EXCHANGES used one of the malware-infected wallets uploaded to Community Leadership controlled Github to enable 51% attack vector?  <-- Charlie you know it doesn't work that way - just stop with the FUD please, you are embarrassing yourself again

See a small subset of the many, many times this has happened before the vulnerabilities of github were well understood:
* https://www.zdnet.com/article/official-monero-website-compromised-with-malware-that-steals-funds/
* https://bitcoinist.com/syscoin-hacked-malware-inserted-in-github-account/
* https://malwaretips.com/threads/canonical-github-account-hacked-ubuntu-source-code-safe.93606/
* https://techcrunch.com/2018/06/29/hackers-too-over-the-gentoo-linux-github-repository/

While unfortunate, malware injection in Github has been fairly common and the short excerpt from https://medium.com/@newyorkcoin/timeline-analysis-and-response-to-recent-51-attack-941da50d625c explains what went down:

On October 30th, the Community Development Team discovered these infected wallet releases and quickly started to investigate. During the investigation, two major flaws in the general security of GitHub were discovered.
The first flaw was that any account within the organization can access any of the wallet release assets, even for repositories for which they do not have permissions. The second flaw was that all changes after the initial publish event of the wallet releases are silent and don’t trigger the GitHub web hook notifications. All changes made by members of the NYC GitHub Organization trigger an email and Discord notification, except changes in the wallet releases, which are arguably for a cryptocurrency the most important changes for requiring notifications. The team was able to identify the account used to change the wallet releases, and unfortunately, it was the GitHub account of a former community contributor who didn’t know about the compromised account.

Trying to explain open source, github and blockchain to you is like trying to explain orbital mechanics to a flat-earther.

I would rather have had disposable income to buy bitcoin when I "discovered" it in or around 2014 ... but some, like Andreas, have families to take care of and some of us have to pay for fancy apartments and beautiful wives and girlfriends, not all of us live in a trailer and have no job  Grin

Reminder to anyone reading this, Charlie Kartchner aka scryptenthusiast aka nycoin aka hivewalletvictim and probably a dozen more aliases has one goal in life - to get you to pay 3 gwei on Yobit for something you will later be forced to sell for 2 gwei only after you get past the huge buy and sell walls he has put up on Yobit or if you manage to get past his bywall at 2 gwei your only option will be to eventually sell at 1 gwei - again after you get past the huge buywall - the only thing levitating this thing on Yobit is shifty scrypty using his whale powers to washtrade the price in whatever direction he wants

I was confirming transactions on the network when you were discovering the definition. I was a visionary and pioneer in this crypto space advocating, promoting, preserving and ensuring the longevity of the amazing NewYorkCoin when you were trying to scrape a few bucks together to buy some Bitcoin AND manage to afford your multi-generational rent controlled apartment.

I was probably banging your beautiful girlfriend before you met her. And before this show is over, she'll be thinking about me and cumming more times than you can get an erection without help.

Don't stress too much, bro - God made us all a bit differently. Kings and the help. And those stuck somewhere in between. What chair will you be sitting in when the music stops? Hint: It won't be MY THRONE. That spot has already been reserved.  Cry

No value: That is like saying Steve Jobs was no value to Apple.

No Coinezi: That was a joint venture with Steve Outtrim, founder of Sausage Software (hotdog FTP).https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Outtrim. Same Steve Outtrim that Community Leadership wanted nothing to do with. Steve and I both decided in the end that neither of us had enough development or security expertise to launch it properly without bringing in outside help which neither of us were ready to commit additional resources to, at that particular time.

No ATM machine: Anyone can order an NYC ATM from https://biteller.io. NYC price was too low for me personally to sell any cheapies. You (or anyone else) can feel free to set one up. You don't need the Guardian to hold your hand.

No BiteBTC: This is yet another exchange I paid for NYC to get listed on. I have no control over their business practices. Listed on CoinMarketCap, etc. It's like blaming the owner of CMC. You desperate tardo.

No Yobit withdrawals: Yet another exchange I paid to get NYC listed on. They were NYC's #1 exchange since listing NYC back in 2017. I have no control over them opening withdrawals. Even after 51% attack, Yobit still allows trading of NYC - uninterrupted! They have synced wallets with v. 1.3 and opened back up deposits (since July 2019). Seems like opening withdrawals will be next. But no promises. Again, I have no control over the actions of exchanges that list NYC.

You suck bruv: My "failures" listed above will be more of a CONTRIBUTION to crypto and NYC than everything you will ever do. Read that twice, so you fully comprehend it.

Am I missing anything: YOUR LAST CHANCE to buy NYC cheapies.   Kiss

P.S. it looks like 3 gwei gobbling time on Yobit  Grin

Don't worry everyone because in 3 days NewYorkCoin will be listed on a top 25 exchange, and all of our worries will disappear...according to CK. Take that one for face value. The same guy who wanted to "join forces" with the "Community" and calls NewYorkCoin "our coin" when the value jumps instead of "my precious," and then goes on a rampage all in under 24 hours. Somebody fetch this guy his Xanax.

Alas, we should let him have his moment, and see if he delivers big on Friday, or if he just delivers another turd like it's business as usual.
