I do not think that waves can defeat the etherium. Now the ether is gaining more popularity thanks to the ICO. But waves also develop. I think they both will exist, but the ethereum will be stronger. It's not about defeating one to another. This crypto currency system is too big for both projects. We can see more good projects with them. There are a lot of money to be made, just look at total marketcap numbers. We are still in early stages. Waves and Ethereum will grow more and more every year together.

Ethereum has much wider use than Waves. It is the platform for creating smart contracts that can be much more complicated that Waves token.
So Waves is definitely not a competition to Eth.

for me Ethereum and wave are two good wallet and coin as well, but from the look of things in my own view Wave will overcome Ethereum. when it comes to the aspect of security Wave security is stronger than Etheruem so for that reason Wave will overcome it, because what matters alot in wallet is for your fund to be safe.

Where did you hear/read that Waves will be the next Ethereum? If you are going to check the platform of waves, you will see and find out the reason why somebody telling that Waves is the nex Ethereum, but they never say that Waves will replace Ethereum, of course its not like that because if waves is next to ETh while Ethereum will goes up by next year for sure.

Where is waves now? It's been a lot of time but they only were able to host some useless tokens as the market is increasingly being taken by ethereum and newer alternatives.

waves have potential but it can not dethrone ETH. ETH have big connections and proper PR and waves lack here.
some people who hold waves strongly believe that price waves will go beyond eth but not in my opinion

They are not rivals (so far), because the ethereum has already prepared a coin that only improves, and the waves are only at the very beginning of their journey.

Each coin has its own advantages and disadvantages. I never compare between waves and ethereum, because both have their own price. As long as both can benefit, why not?

Im sorry for the waves fan out here, but i think ethereum has even become stronger in the past days since the launch of cryptokitties. Transaction in eth had been very high at compared before.

I don't think a simple easy game could beat the entire Waves eco-system. Probably these two coins are not comparable but for what I can see while using, there are several features in waves that you can't find directly in eth. also a lower price (15$!) is a bargain for the long terms!

Waves VS ETH. Hmm thats a tough nut to crack buddy! But I think most of the people here are more oriented on ETH. Im not saying that they didnt know the waves but I think ETH is more familiar to them. Now if you ask me if Waves can beat ETH, well that probably took a year or so. Although ETH didnt have a stable market as of now, but I think it will be a close battle between those two coins in the near future. If I were to choose between those two coins. I prefer ETH for now although I can see some bright future on Waves. Come to think of it ETH is more known than Waves although theyre both having a campaign in this site but the difference is ETH comes first than Waves. Thats my insights!

I don't think waves can beat ethereum. Like bitcoin, ethereum also has been there for a years so it already build trust to the people. It's important for the coin ofcourse. Yeah, waves is a good project though but i just think it was not good enough to beat ethereum. Ethereum already got a problem in the past week because of cryptokitties but as you can see, its not just recover but also the price increases.

Ethereum is in a position as well as larger investor than Waves. However, waves also have good innovations to attract investors. For me both are a reliable altcoin as well as profitable.

I don't think there is anything on a market that can beat Ethereum, I would not even compare the two. EThereum has many unique features and has its own niche, plus there are much more projects that are based off Ethereum Yes even me as a newly one I can say that ethereum is the better one than waves, although their are some waves but I'll be prefer for ethereum and as I observed from friends their choosing ethereum than waves.

To be frank eth is a far away thing, waves first need to compete the recent competitor called neo that is already trading way above waves, lets see who wins.

I prefer ethereum in appeal with waves. Due to the potential and popularity of ethereum today is increasing and getting better. But that does not mean waves are not good, It's just that I prefer the ethereum in waves appeal.

Waves will not be next ethereum in the same way ethereum will not be next bitcoin or bitcoin gold will not be next bitcoin cash. İf you are comparing the technology ethereum have smart contracts, waves doesn't have yet. Chain of waves scalable then ethereum. Both of projects can make their chain usefull with their open mind devs. But people do not buying and selling in realistic perspective. Litecoin chain better than bitcoin but bitcoin price higher than ltc. Waves better than ripple but ripple marketcap higher than waves. So, that is pyscholocigal investment no one can say it is sense.

Ethereum is widely accepted and has multiple uses, it is more preferred than Waves. I don't think Waves will ever manage to lead Ethereum ever.
