many ICO's failed lately. some of them turned into a scam.
this is because too many ICO that created lately.
it is still profiting to invest in ICO, but that is only if you find a legit and good ICO.

I never investment an ICO before. because I think really more risky than trading. I'd better buy an existing coin on the market and maybe I will holding it if the coin is suitable for the long-term. but if the market allows for fast trading I will do it too.

I was not sure to invest in an ICO project, I just followed a bounty program, with 100% confidence. because their supporting devices are very convincing as teams, advisors, admin and others are very transparent, but still ultimately a scam

last year many ICO  become succesfull this was also bldue to market is bullish durimg those time. but during this early 2018 many ICO drop its price when traded in market it seems it is mire cheaper to buy in the market than buying directly to the company who owns it. since we are beasrish probably it affect the ICO  Price also. but as long as you know how to pick good ICO coins you can still earn profit when market trend is going up.

Investing in ICO always promising but in one condition, invest in perfectly working project and would be successful, if you put invest on successful project you will likely get the best return.

Possibly, but having invested since January 2017 and then seeing how many are actually close to having real products, how many are still stumbling along and how many have disappeared, my advice would be to either do some very serious research before investing in the current crop (There will be winners but harder to pick).

You could wait until next year, by which time several law actions would have come to fruition against bad ICO's, regulatory authorities will have more concrete policies and penalties waiting for unscrupulous ICO's and media outlets will have also become more discerning as to what they are peddling with respect to ICO's.

Otherwise,  you could stick with ICO's/Coins/tokens that are most of the way or almost to the market with their product since they have moved on from ICO and have proven they are still able and committed to achieving their original ICO goals.
