Can't say about only ERC20 but can say about all of altcoins. ICOs are still very perspictive but there are a lot of projects and you should just carefull learn about company where you want to invest.

Statistics are nothing. Moreover, half of them made superficial, I doubt that someone is picking up investment experience bit by bit. It is best to make mental investments yourself and see the personal percentage of success.
