Money can bring happiness but sometimes it cant but dont think that money cant bring happiness because you work hard for this. I think you need to take balance from money and time for anything to spend time on other not only in work or for earning money only.

A lot of young people work really hard in order to save money for the future. I know about guys who work for 14-hours a day. But I have also seen people who regret working that hard later in their life.

Trees have value, they don't have money. Animals have value they don't use money. People have value, even if they have more or less money. Those without money like infants, they don't now how to use money, they also have a value. So, I totally disagree with you saying "money is everything". A small incident which is making me feel if Money is the only thing we need in life. One of my cousin is married and have 2 kids and the younger one is just a year old. They are planning to leave their kids with their parents and go to a foreign country to earn more money. I cant imagine if both of them can be happy without seeing their kids or money has made them to take this decision. Do you think its a right decision?

If you think in the other side of the story, My only opinion they actually have a right decision. Because they love so much their kids, they can make more money to give a good life to their siblings. They think to do not want their life make poor like no food to eat, no shelter, no money that their point.

I don't think you friend has taken a good decision by abandon his family for money and travelling to a far country for money!  To me the best thing to do is to prioritize your value according to there important before taking any decisions especially hard one like the one your friend has taken. The reason why you're cousin worked overseas was to provide for their children. And there's no greater joy for parents to provide great future for their children. So, I think it's worth it. They are not really happy to work away from home. But, they need to.

I agree, we need to make it balance, not all in life are about money, our families also needs us not just our money. Money should not be as important in our lives as it is. Many factors make it so important:

-We put too much trust in it, as if it could solve everything. It can solve some problems, but not all.

-We need to keep a certain status not to be embarrassed by people around us calling us "losers" or having pity on us for living humbly. We could live with much less, and probably be much happier, but the environment (tv, people around us etc) presses on to convince us that that is no life.

It's because money is essential for us to provide our needs and necessities in life. I think most parents would like to provide and secure their children's future. You're cousins decision to work abroad is also hard for them, but I think they did it for their children. My father also worked abroad when I was young too, and I understand why he did it.
