Why would the banks want to work with OmiseGo team when their mission is to eliminate them? Even if they meet with all the banks in Asia, I doubt the banks would acquiesce. Hence, you will just get the pics of the meeting and not the content. I'm still skeptical about OmiseGo thinking they will take over the banking system in Asia.

"If you can't beat them.. learn about them, maybe join them or acquire them or get them to help us or or or..". Times are changing, you can't say they want to eliminate them anymore, and it's not like it's some ICO meeting pre-venture, they're already in the money biz. I doubt they are going to take over the banking system in Asia too - however I do see them adding branches and arms to it that integrate crypto eventually, as all corps/gov/banks will. Who cares WHAT part of the world does it first, as long as it happens and someone takes the lead for others to follow in this time of uncertainty from legacy systems. I came in skeptical too, and now I sound like a poster boy for them however the more I learn about everything and the more proof/press/interviews/ama's/pics/meeting/etc I see the more confident I am that this is both real and not a shitcoin campaign. Them meeting w the central bank and making it public isn't the only thing they have going for it or the only reason to invest, it's just the cherry on the cake right now - however you have to admit it's not something to easily dismiss either even if nothing comes from it this round.

This is a narrow-minded, speculation type of thinking. They have a working product, they are already in market for several years with a huge team and top-notch advisors and they solve a specific problem while getting bigger and bigger. Think outside the box: banks are also crazy to start implementing blockchain technology. Just read about it and you'll find several examples of huge banks working with Ethereum's blockchain and other technologies. FinTech is being revolutionized by blockchain technology and banks will have to adapt to it one way or another. Blockchain, as Mougayar says, is going to replace the whole internet technology and OmiseGo is on the front line of this technology.

Pretty close to investing in this, maybe 50k before it's too late. Strange there isn't much talk on this one.

I liquidated part of my NEO position to get more OMG. NEO hype is dying off for a bit however I think OMG is just getting started. Either way, it will be a great asset to hold long term.

OMG is going to become top #10 coin once it dethrones the useless Ethereum Classic. Watch FOMO kick in again soon 😎

I have just notice this coin listed at bitfinex, but I cannot find its thread there on bitcointalk? Project's website: https://omg.omise.co/The coin was pumped crazily lately , I will try to find a proper price to buy some. Really a nice coin showed by the website. Thank you for the info.

Usually, I am very well aware of Vitalik Buterin projects. I remember earlier about Humaniq and it sounded very lively. But how is it I have never heard of OmiseGo? Did Mr Vitalik think he might just go quiet on this one instead of hyping up like Humaniq? Maybe he felt sorry it is doing badly now, but since I only have small amounts of it, I no longer worry. Just my fortune to miss out on something that goes boom.

Bitcoin Suisse and OMG worked together during the ICO. And ICOage for Chinese community. ICO happened through those 2 platforms as I remember.

Regarding Humaniq, to my knowledge Vitalik has nothing to do with the Humaniq project. Humaniq started off with excellent PR and weekly video updates, until the week they had their first public meet up and product launch. Thats when the weekly updates stopped, they didnt reply to emails and have gone all quiet. While people tried contacting them on facebook and twitter, they would not reply but instead they just copy and paste blockchain news articles, perhaps to look active. I owned 10,000 HMQ at one point, but sold out at minimum loss when they started acting suspicious. If i didnt sell out, i would of lost over 60% of what i put in. Luckily i sold and reinvested in OMG , i am up 700% in 3 weeks because of OMG. I tried warning investors on the HMQ forum, but some thought i was trying to fud, even though i backed up everything i said. OMG has been the best investment i have made this year and i am very excited about its future, especially when PoS begins. Imagine in a few months time, staking a coin worth $20 or $30 each, and you dont need to do any work. I am very bullish on Omisego
