Waves really disappointed me recently, it did so poor with those Binance votes.

Binance votes were completly fucked up.

Why do you say that?

Other coins used bots or something similar to win the vote. Stratis went up 5000 votes in a minute or so.

guys who know, what are the upcoming updates expected by the waves? Is there any point in buying now?
I don't know why you are going after WAVES. If you really want to invest in an altcoin, ETH is the best option. However, I personally recommend bitcoins. It gives highest profits in short span of time if compared with other crypto currencies. You don't need to invest in order to earn BTCs. You can join signature campaigns.

I made 10x my money in the last 6 months holding Waves.. How does your BTC holdings compare ?

I already hold ETH, who doesn't.

Bitcoin is only used to buy more alt's

It is the right time to garb waves because we all know since bitcoins are dumping so altcoins are following them. Bitcoins are going to touch 5k dollars before December and these altcoins will follow those producing good profits. I am holding some waves but still in mood of buying more.

This statement cannot be confuted less. 90% of the altcoins will make you lose money! The remaining 10% only has strong foundations and will make you profit in the long term. Wave is one of those.

Most of time bitcoin is a stable currency. So if you have a big investment amount, you could actually trade a lot.For long term,if you invest a lot, bitcoin i would say is a better option, because of smaller risk(just lets not forget about airbags(good traiding opportunity,if managed to catch a moment))But alt coins are good as well of course.I would say 70\30 btc\altcoins to invest

My vision: You lose money (vs Bitcoin growth) on 50% of your alts... but the remaining generally over compensates the losses.

Waves did that deal with Burger King Russia. So let's be patient with our Waves. I can see this expanding like Omise Go. There really is not any point investing in a project that does not do any Public Relations work at all.

Haha, Out of frying pan into the fire, I guess so. Let’s just pray Waves does not disappoint you. Things would have been much better if you were a bitcoin earner. I don't know why people don't join signature campaigns and make BTCs without any sort of investment. If you will hook up with altcoins, you won't be to the moon even in a century.

Why buy Waves?
-Because too much hype
-Free coins from airdrops
-Lpos, more coins

Why not buy Waves?
-Too many bagholders
-No real development about UI/UX
-Uncertain future
-High price comparing to 6 months ago

Waves is a scamcoin and scam platform to facilitate scam icos.

Best is to stay away from it.
Waves more than anything is a decentralized exchange and we need at least one that works as good as a regular exchange but that it cannot be took down as easily as centralized exchanges, a government only needs to confiscate a few servers to destroy an exchange, decentralization is the only reason bitcoin has survived this long and I think it is imperative that exchanges operate in this way as well, no only to protect their customers but to protect themselves as well.

I own 1000 waves. what are the upcoming events with this coin? I am thinking about adding more.

People buy waves because they see a huge potential in waves. wishing to see the value double in few years from now.

So, now that governments are starting to pay attention to ICO and even Exchanges, it makes the thought of a DEX all the more appealing.

It can't be shut down. We really need the waves team to move past the Alpha stage of the programme and see what the updated exchange can do - If it has ERC20 tokens added, it will be amazing.

The price of waves would also shoot up which is an added bonus for those of us who have held long term.

Waves is good because of Waves community token. You also have the added benefit of lots of tokens airdropped to you if you have Waves tokens in a waves wallet.
