Those who invested in Waves are not very pleased at the moment. But for future, I recommend you to hold some waves in your hands so that you will not regret it.

Hey all.  This maybe a dumb question bit i notice when you are in waves wallet, they have usd dollar, euro btc, eth, litecoin, zcash and wtry.

Does that mean if you have btc, eth or zcash, you could basically use your waves wallet to store all these coins?  I had no idea you could store eth and litecoin or even btc in it.  Can someone confirm this is true?  If so, that mean if someone uses myetherwallet for ETH... i guess you can just use waves wallet instead?

Yes that´s right. You can store several coins at the same time. For example, I´m having Ether and Waves in my wallet. The other cool thing is that you can trade these coins at a very low fee.

I also invested in Waves mid 2017 at around $3.5, I split my money buying some Neo and Waves, Neo was around $8 and Waves around $3. I am not very happy with the performance of Waves while Neo is still 8x from that price. I plan on hodling until it gives me a big return.

I own 1000 waves. what are the upcoming events with this coin? I am thinking about adding more.
And the right thing to do is to increase the number of more, because the team of developers was joined by people from  Ethereum, who brought with them some ideas for improvement. Now, Waves has the ability to create tokens 2 times faster than on Ethereum. So we are waiting for the mid-April surprise in the price and further rise.

I do not exclude that the waves will replace eth. They will have an update that will allow them to make full-fledged smart contracts, as well as their new exchange looks attractive.

first, waves have quick transactions and affordable transaction costs. second, the prospect of coin waves (WAVES) in the Year 2018 will rise slowly.

Actually, I'm very pleased with Waves and I'm very sure a lot of people are. I got in also around $3 to $3.5, but now even below $5 is extremely good value to me so I don't mind topping it up every now and then, all the while leasing it for a small amount (I see it as free transaction fees for the future). It is struggling now, but so is the rest of crypto! When it gets back to $10, which it will, we'll all be relaxed. And that growth is not going to stop there. Just look at all the developments and merchant onboarding Sacha is working on. That's going to pay dividends.

They will never replace Eth I think. Eth has a first movers advantage and they have the vast majority of the market place already running on the Ethereum platform. They might eat up some of the market share, but imo they will never replace Eth.

So much talk about Waves, but he does not move from the dead point, when will we see the growth of this coin? Are they developing new platform improvements or something new? Will there be fundamental news in the near future?

It's stable for now at 6-7 $ for about a week but I expect a run to 10 $ soon.
Please find roadmap attached, lot of upcoming stuff.

Hmmmm. The run was in the wrong direction. now it is $ 3.60 instead of $ 10. but you do not know that before. but you should also be careful what you write here

Even with its current price now it is still a good buy for as long as you will hold this coin for long term. After all, you are aiming for it to reach $10 right? I have a couple of waves kept on one of the exchanges I use and plan to keep it for a few more years then I’ll probably sell it at the right price.

Waves is going to be "supposedly" direct competition with ETH, so it makes sense to invest in something which can be as big as an existing competitor. Thus, having a competitor to look forward to and try and out perform gives the project motivation and longevity. E.g. Apple vs Samsung. Because they both want to outdo each other, we the customers experience updates, improvements, new features etc. which provides more value to the company and thus the investors.

A "serious" compatitor who does not even have a 500 million marketcap?

Sorry, but it does not make sense. Waves is a good coin, but they have zero marketing and that is the reason of why it has been so down during the last few days.

Wave is the most underrated coin right now yet many shit coin whos road map is isn't complete is worth more than waves ,one major reason is bcz of dex that many exchanges do not add it.but as waves have fastest blockchain and they give regular result of their hardwork,i think in next year wave has a great chance of boom ,then it might pump like ethereum.ethereum is the only competitor for waves.

The waves are a good promising coin and while the crypto currency market has revived after the recent fall, however, the coins are only beginning to rise in price, and the waves have a rate of slightly more than $ 5, they need to be bought until they have risen high enough to buy. Although if you take them for a long-term perspective, you can at least buy and when they rise. Anyway, after a certain time there will be a profit

I've always added a little bit of Waves every time it went below $4 (or satoshi wise equivalent) and have been very happy with it even though I never sold at $10 or more. Even today at $5 or so, I still add a little every time I can. This, along with Litecoin and Stratis are some of my more recent "always add". The dips have been more opportunity. Time will surely see these coins gain traction, and use. Smart contracts have already arrived, people will take time to use and acknowledge. But the future is bright as it always has been.

And why not have in your investment portfolio WAVES. The coin is in the top coinmarketcap and is developing.

In my opinion waves is very cheap now. They have a decentralized exchange and it is their strength. If you buy waves you can lease it to anyone then you can earn some waves from it.

WAVES has the greatest potential, many ICO support this coin and near future many are coming. We should buy this coin as we get the sure profit.
