transparent? Nothing in 16 days, when you stated twice that you would have OFFICIAL updates 6 days, at the latest,  after you originally posted this announcement? Thats evasive and hardly transparent.

I agree mass is the biggest scam ico ever. They have an active telegram with members that answer all the members questions, try to be as open about funds whitehat took, offered refund for a week to those that wanted it after hack even though not their fault and other icos dont refund (coindash). They also scam everyone by letting people know they are speaking with lawyers to prevent future issues with SEC and also reopening presale to offer a chance for those that waited but got cut off due to presale contract ending via whitehat saving funds.

MAN I F***ing hate scam icos like mass that try to do everything to make everyone (majority) happy by daily chats on telegram and emails. I could have asked for a refund of 77 eth but wanted the scammers to be happy. I'm sure that they could update me everyday saying no new news from lawyers but I guess they want to be super evasive and not talk to investors.

I wish I had more eth to give these scammers as their scamming model sounds awesome. Be as open and informative as possible offer refunds to gain trust and reopen presale and ico rather then just call it quits with 7k ETH where most people would have accepted it was hacked like other ICOs.

When it comes to legal council they have employed specialists to assist.

These specialists known as lawyers are discussing the legal ramifications amongst themselves. Once they have made their decision they will inform the mass team in the fullness of time.
And that will be the update everyone is waiting for. Since this part is external to the mass team they are unable to make it go any faster than it is going.

Currently the update stands as we are still awaiting council. Once that changes the information will be disseminated to all and sundry.

And the project will move forward. Until then have patience.

Bro i have not made up one thing ive said. Ive merely looked at what theyve said and looked at their actions and the 2 dont match. They stated twice in their telegram announcement they would reach out and have an announcement in 6 days tops. 17 days later now and nothing.

Even as it stands, we don't have a decision or date on resuming the pre-sale due to the fact we're awaiting details from counsel.  If he were to quote a time frame as you're suggesting he should have, it would have been a complete fabrication and guess.  Instead of doing that, we've been transparent about the situation throughout.  As far as "should have done before preico" as you state, these new guidelines were released by the SEC in the middle of the pre-sale, which in turn was promptly paused in light of.  Unfortunately, we're not able to see the future - so preparing for said guidelines ahead of time wasn't a possibility.  As far as the amount you have put in, please allow us to offer you a fair exit - post your address and we'll have you sign and verify that it is yours and we will allow a transfer of MASS in our back end system to another user and send you back your ETH.  We're incredibly fair people and transparent and we've been working hard to ensure that this surprise of regulatory suggestions are complied with.  Other projects in our position who value not just an instant profit but a long-term sustainable model have been exercising the same level of caution, and rightly so.  Some others have chosen just to simply assume they've interpreted these guidelines properly and proceed.  We can assure you after seeing some of those choosing the latter, it's looking to be a house of cards forming for them.  That's not what we want for folks working with us and participating in this project.

This is a healthy and appropriate debate. Not all of us can throw away $900 and it matters to those with doubts/concerns as much as it does to supporters with no doubts or concerns.

Marketing should have commenced if this is to be a successful project. It's not easy to gain popularity or momentum. The same questions being asked here are only going to be asked a 1000 times more once the project gains more market exposure.

Twitter, Facebook and this Steemit are all free and strong means of communication and marketing.

The trolling going on between individuals is boring, but analysing points such as Bob and myself have previously made should be of value to everyone invested, including the MASS team.

No one invested without thinking this was going to be a flyer. We all want it to be the success it can be, but there are some fairly big issues to date. Namely that although there has been fair disruption outside of the control of the Mass team, what are we roughly looking at with regards to the funds invested.

Time frames always slip on projects. Even more so given the white hat hacker and SEC issues, but you can still start to communicate plan B, C or the other options under consideration. You can also explain what the impact of various plans are.
