Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Announcement

Please can the community refrain from visiting this site  signatumprice.com

It has been highlighted as a scam, and has no affiliation/association with any of the official Signatum team.

I would also kindly ask that both @borderline and @cryptodevil remove/disable the links from their posts, as not to draw attention and allow newbies, or any other member of the community, to fall victim by allowing them to

to click on it as a link.

Thank-you.

'Borderline' did not post this link. 'Papi92' did and it was subsequently quoted by me and a couple of others.

Another chieldren's shi~ was found.

manifest and opus
I think the community of signatum holders no have any sence to work with different FUD,
FUDer's, offtop, flame and another mindless occupation.
Just need to hold wallets opened for make warranty of liqidity this coin through stable pos mining.
We all can to add SIGNATUM to all this stock exchanges: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets
and do portable paperwallet with passphrase brainwallet
and bitcoin signature tool, like https://reinproject.org/static/bitcoin-signature-tool/index.html
https://github.com/ReinProject/bitcoin-signature-tool
and https://tools.bitcoin.com/verify-message/

Also will be possible to create any decentralized banks with masternodes,
and POS mining pool there to got stable 5% yearly in sigt through POS, like DASH.

Can be possible to create portable local web-wallet and JSON communication
with explorers and decentralized nodes, like WAVES.

Can be possible to do regular blockchain optimization for fast synchronization if blockchain will be growing,
like incakoin blockchain with 2 million blocks...
....
etc...

Thank-you to everybody who participated in the chat/discussion on discord.

It was a great way for the community to chat among themselves, with ideas and concerns.

When more people actively involve themselves within the community, even for a casual chat, it becomes a hive mind.

A collective intelligence behind Signatum, will prove successful in the future.

A simple computer can also be mining. A money that can make a profit if it can increase the volume a little. It needs to go into bigger exchange. I guess it's a coin that miners usually care about.

Really good voice chat everyone!

We should try to come together every few days to address everyone's concerns.

For now, I will keep on stacking.  Can't wait to hear about developments of Signatum Swarm.

Okay, time to see how many people say nasty things to me after I make a comment about POS and Signatum..

usually when you are in the POS stage and you hold a coin, your weight rises...I can see so far my weight has stayed exactly the same. And for those who tell me I am wrong, it is in fact you who are wrong. Ive POS'd other coins, am currently doing it with 3 others as we speak and guess what? My weight rises as time goes on while holding all those other coins. So with a network weight of 42 million now, guess those without a LOT of coins are going to get virtually nothing. (Oh wait, didn't I say that earlier and then have morons lambast me for stating facts?)

Also, and this is the one that will really have the hate come out.... what happened to the price of signatum shooting to "the moon" once POS kicked in? wasn't the rationale for it rising because "everyone will be holding and no more POW"? seems to me the price has steadily dropped since POS started, even though it was in hybrid mode first... hmmmmmmm

Okay, start the hate fest...

let me start it for you

I'm just a shill hoping to get people to dump so I can buy more...

ummmm.. time for me to find another coin because I'm just a signatum hater..

I'm hoping to start a pump so I can sell...

why didn't I sell before POS then...

ummm... insert your idiotic statement here ___________________________________

Hello Sparker327,

Thank you for raising this matter, there has been talk over the current POS voiced among the community, we would encourage you to raise these issues, development is eager to listen to all concerns and ideas.

We would like to invite you over to the Discord, where you will find real-time support and guidance, as well as the ability to input your ideas.

We hope to hear from you over any issues or ideas you would like to share, we encourage your involvement.

Kind Regards,

Wow the price of SIGT is continuing to go down.  I wonder when and where it will bottom out.  I have a feeling this could be an excellent buying opportunity...or...it could keep on going down and we could all get stuck with nothing. Sad

I'm about at my limit with this coin.  I don't think I will buy more no matter how low it drops.  However I'm not selling my current coins at a loss.  No way.  There is too much upside for this coin.  I'm going to hold it for 6 months to a year and see where I'm at.  Hopefully I will gain 5% by staking.

Many good things still to come with this project.

A ton of progress has been made in the past couple weeks and it's only going to get better.

Hey guys I am having NO luck on my QT wallet... worked fine for 1+ month now has 0 connections.

I tried completely erasing the wallet & re-downloading with no luck.

My signatum.conf file is fully updated.

Ideas ?
Firewall ?

No it is not the problem -- also have two other wallets working on same PC but not Signatum. Tried to re-boot & only open Signatum wallet and also no good.

Your firewall or even Anti-virus (if it has a behaviour blocker) could still be blocking just the Signatum Wallet. Check your application rules.

Okay must have been an update to Windows Defender. Added an exception in Anti-Virus & I show connections but it doesn't seem to be actually synching.

I've had as many as 16 connections on the Wallet but still out of synch after many hours.

*edit*

Scratch that... managed to get it to work. Not sure why this time but using the new QT wallet fixed it. Even though I tried the same thing yesterday with no luck.

Unfortunately it's going down. I'll set this aside for a while and see how it goes in a couple of weeks.

I am staking my coins but it keeps saying 1 day and i still need to receive my first stake. I am using the older wallet because of the virus issue in the new wallet. Am i just unlucky or is something wrong?

No way to answer your question without knowing what your staking weight is.

What to expect for a staking weight of 10K?

any issue or limitation if still using the old QT wallet since day 1?

25K

I have 14k, old wallet and got 2 hits. If the wallet says staking in lower left you should be good. And it is luck when you hit but you do not gain anything by being "lucly". Just frequent smaler reward, instead of a rarer bigger reward
