I am also getting a virus warning Generik.KVQJJMY with the net wallet update. The only wallet i also have this with is AltCommunityCoin wallet. Since my old wallet still works fine i will not update untill the problem has been resolved. I rather not take the chance something is actually wrong. When do you think this can be resolved?

Maybe you could just compile it from git sources?
Or set VirtualBox VM for it to have simple sandbox and feel safe? ;-)

When POS, do we need to open wallet 24/7?

Correct, it must be open 24/7 and unlocked for staking.

when it must be 24/7 online, a raspberry pi wallet would be great.

sorry SIGT devs, your wallet is totally unusable. Running it whole days without any interuption and there is only 1 connection to SIGT network, today I have ZERO connections! Using 100/100mbps, and uPnP in my router is opening ports without problems. Command ADDNODE is not working in the console! You have not answered this issue yet. Total fail.

I have seen POS works even without this entry in .conf , but is recommended you update conf file with staking=1

Should it say that stuff is in stake already in my wallet as my balance only shows in the total and and spendable rows says "Stake: 0.00 SIGT" is that what everyones will say until it starts staking or should it have my total balance in there right now?

If you are connecting without updating the nodes then there is no need to do that. It is only if you are having problems.

Have a look at the bottom left, there is a little lightning bolt, if it is white then you are staking. Hover over it to get more details. If it says you are not staking then you must unlock your wallet, unlock it for staking only. As for the "Staking" field on the main screen, I can only assume that will update once we start staking.

Everyone who replied is awesome. Thank you. Got in a bit late on this one but holding as much as I can. Seems to have a lot of people following it right now even compared to some bigger coins I don't usually get replies so fast I like the excitement around this right now.
