Try the miner execution as: sgminer.exe -k skunkhash -o http://127.0.0.1:3333 -u randomname1 -p randompass1 -I 21
But with the current difficulty, pool mining is the better option IMHO.
Already tried. Also tried 'stratum+tcp://' - getting the same message. ('Most likely you have input the wrong URL, forgotten to add a port, or have not set up workers')
Maybe I missed something?..

Hi all!

Honestly I have been trying to mine this for quite a while, since almost the beggining actually, and my GPU isn't compatible Sad
Can someone tell me how much coin/MH are you getting to see if it is wise for me to try and get them on the exchange?
I want in on the project but haven't been able, and I am affraind that just participating by buying it would be rather expensive and unbalanced opposed to this day miners.

i am getting close to 600 coins a day with 2X GTX1080ti, around $34 a day based on today's price

may i know what your hashrate is and what pool you're using or are you solo mining?

try accessing http://127.0.0.1:3333 in your browser - if you can access that, then it's something wrong with the getwork url, double check your o flag, the same url that works in a browser is what you need

if not, then its something wrong with the daemon, possibly port is being used already, check netstat -n to find if thats occuring already and if so, try changing ports

either way i would not recommend solo mining, especially on amd cards, the net hash is over 1TH and you'd be the luckiest man on earth to find a block (especially since sgminer is performing not so well on this algo and seems to have issues with multi cards)

you shoudl also be able ot find the debug console in the wallet and see if there is any bad stuff happening on the daemon e.g. unable to listen to ports or whatever

Does anyone else notice more than 1% being deducted for pool fees at supernova on this? Looks more like 5% Was 6.2% overall for the past few days when calculating credit and debit from mp.

Ever heard of "Luck"? It was most time above 100% for that coin (sometimes 130%+) - this means you don't find as fast as intended a block, but thats not limited to suprnova, the other pools were also not below 100% when i checked yesterday.

sp_ can help you.  He's selling it for .05 BTC.  I'm running it now.  Very significant hashing improvement.  I would recommend you consider buying it.

I have a question about solo mining. I followed the tutorial for solo mining and there are no problems . My question is , is the solo mining is automaticly connected to my wallet so if i find a block it will be send to my wallet automaticly ? Because we do not enter wallet address just the username and password we created in conf file.

Thanks

Yes. automaticaly. I do that 5 day befor..
But today you must be damn lucky to find block in solo... really... you can visit suprnova pool, look on dificult, hashrate and try to count how long you must mining if your luck is same like suprnova...
but who can be more lucky - you dont know... it is probelm in mathematic counting..
dont mine solo. connect to pool

I'm fairly new to this whole crypto currency mining thing so please don't take this the wrong way it's not meant to be an insulting question.... anyway, how can this coin ever make anyone any money mining? Surely it's only those that mined the first batch and cashed out during it's peak that will make a profit? Why would anyone invest money into this coin? How can it have any long term future? I'm guessing miners are cashing out asap so it's value wont really rise in the future and it'll continue to tumble day after day?

Genuine questions.

if you find a block (and thats a big if atm) then the reward will be paid to the wallet which found it (ie the one on your computer)
