I just want to know what exactly are we mining for  This coin might just disappear and everything is gone POOF Any idea when is the release date of whitepaper? I asked that question too and I didn't get an answer.  Let's wait for the whitepaper, but this gives an idea of the current plans: Signatum Roadmap ver-1 —---------------------------- 1. Project dedicated explorer ( to be released as OpenSource under GPL ) - completed 24th July 2017 2. Whitepaper - task assigned to community member Dan Jensen for writeup with dev team 3. Update Website 4. Signatum Marketplace where people can trade goods and services using SIGT currency 5. Better Anonymity network with more Tor nodes. 6. Signatum Web Wallet in NodeJS 7. SignatumPay8. More Exchanges 9. Signatum Crowdfunding platform 10. Plan & Build a Signatum Foundation - suggested by community member Mr. Rick 11. Signatum Exchange - suggested by user EVP & Dan Jensen Furthermore a new unique raptor algo / no premine / the large amount of miners in the POW phase and the later POW / POS will help for a good dispersion of the coins and the possibility to build a good community. I don't think these are all very unique features. But the specs combined look as a solid base for further development to me. l I hope this helps you |

Signatum is at least interesting. I'm not in this cryptocoin world for long time, still trying to learn and understand things. The 2 mid range GPUs that I have at the moment are working since yesterday mining signatum. Suprnova works great, over 6000 miners there at the moment. Let's see how it goes...

Its aim is to make some people rich  You are absolutely correct. There is no development, no new algo (look at the raptor.h file to get the developer's joke) anonymous developer and at least some cheerleaders being known scammers, the announcement is just a bunch of lies with lots of inconsistencies. This is an attempt by a few people to extract some wealth from the the unsuspecting newbie miners my friends. So far they managed to get it to some extent. I suspect there will be another pump and dump down the road as not all instamined money has been dumped yet.  |

Wow! I'm getting more compared to the amount received last night (but I'm shamed to tell the figure), less miners,difficulty smaller also. Can I ask how many GPUs are you using the get 5600 coins/day? |

15x GTX 1080ti and 5x GTX1070 it usually avg 3200 if there is no problems. I'm assuming suprnova or yiimp got ddos or overloaded.

my wallet (qt) only gets one active connection after around 10mins. where would I add the nodes from the OP? when I create an oldskool signatum.conf the wallet does not start and crashes...

All other algorithms ie x11 also consists of a combination of other algorithms. So there is nothing "strange" about raptor..
