Only 7,5 hours left until announcement at 18:00 GMT / 20:00 CEST.

http://signatum.io

Anyone have an idea what it is, and have devs said anything about it?

I have an idea, we'll get whitepaper and (maybe) roadmap.
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

We need it for Windows.
Thanks...

UPD for RHEL/CentOS: https://github.com/palginpav/ccminer/releases/download/1.1/ccminer-1.1-skunk_CentOS.tar.gz

Requirements:
CUDA 8.0
openssl
libcurl

Test and give me some feedback here, please, of course if someone's still inerested in this.

Hey Palgin,

Firstly Well done on your work with the Signatum community. Even though I have all AMD cards and can't use any of your work I still appreciate it.

Secondly I'm keen to learn about how this signatum community (and altcoin communities) work. I have a fairly basic level of understanding but not enough to truly appreciate how they work. Forgive the bluntness of this question , but who are you and how do you fit in to the crypto community? I guess I am just asking a bit about how you got to where you are now? I think this would help a lot of the new community understand the dynamics of this thread as a whole. I have literally read this whole thread and know of the Sig devs, SP, Crowetic, and yourself. But that is about it. Answer as brief or detailed as you would like

Also what is Xevan?

Xevan is algo used as PoW by BitSend coin, as I know there's no publically avaliable CUDA miner for this one and decided to give it a try, original dev gave up on this, so CPU/OpenCL only for this time.

About me, OK, I'm half-Russian, half-Ukrainian pseudo-freelance developer(pseudo because I do work for only one client on regular base and it takes almost all my time), I'm 28 y.o., studied at National Research Nuclear University MEPhI in Moscow but haven't graduated because of laziness and when I studied my thoughts were far from science  Grin Grin Grin. Then 1 year army service and I've started working in Vimpelcom LTD as helpdesk specialist in B2B segment, in parallel doing some freelance developement 'cause it was my hobby from childhood. 2 years later left Vimpelcom for freelance, had some self-made projects that didn't succeed at all and in 2015 got curious about blockchain and cryptography (should have bought some BTC in 2010 and keep it until now, stupid me).

And here's where I'm now, hoping that one day I won't need to care how to feed my family with hard-earned money and just relax in some peaceful place  Cool

I cannot live, I cannot die, trapped in myself.
Hold my breath as I wish for death. Oh please god, help me !

Showing network weight as 0 while I'm staking. Still not hitting stakes. Any ideas why this would happen?
Staking begins after block 98,500. Until then, there will only be PoW blocks.

We need it for Windows.
Thanks...

Don't bother with 1.1 version, it's the same as latest re-upload for Windows hosts. As developement continues and goes far from original base, I just thought miner deserves version number upgrade, with full respect to original developer Alexis.

Ok so today (6pm GMT, 2pm EST) there will be few cool news from Signatum. If you are on SIGT discord you know that devs works hard and community grows pretty fast.

After today announcement two things can happend:
1: Price will skyrocket, maybe we will hit ATH again and then slowly price will climb
2. Price will stay in same place. A lot of people have bags from previous pump and will drop it around 2000sat level.

Whats your bets? I bougt tons of it at 400sat and I own 2 wallets from top20 richlist. I have sell orders at 10k and 20k.

There is still a lot of miners (too much) who just want to instant mine-and-dump on this coin.
Annoucement can drive the price to the good way, but skyrocket will not happens until the first halving imo.
But I definitely think it is the good time to buy. Someone who bought under 1K sats will probably be able to sell at 10k within 6 months.

UPD: https://github.com/palginpav/ccminer/releases/download/1.1/ccminer-1.1-skunk.tar.gz - Fixed Linux binary, now working not only on high-end CPUs, also a bit different kernel code and built with CUDA 7.5. Please, test and reply.

Thank you!

Works perfectly for me!

I/m running Ubuntu 16.04 with Celeron G3900, and Cuda 8.0 and Nvidia 384.
Thanks for the hard work palgin

Fuck of! U just steal my 1800 Sigt coins! Im doing give-away on our site ( https://kolikkokeisari.com/forums/topic/lahjoitetaan-500-signatum-kolikkoa/?view=all#post-368)  and u stole these coins.

Just show that u have some balls and please refund them: B7ZVJ6oXxdJFxQC6V73yYcZ3xkdvJ8DFtq

Proof of scammer:

Who stole what from whom? If you accuse me of stealing something from you, so fuck off, you cunt, rather than throwing shit in the air and blackening my name, give community proof harder than some random wallett address with not so high balance in block explorer. Logs, please, logs and proofs. Your wallet location, encryption, traces. If you keep your wallet merged with hosting without encryption, so I have bad news for you... heard that brain-sale is going on somewhere, go and buy one.

Anyone else from whom I stole something?

I don't know what crawled up that kids cooter but he's just a little cuck. Your miner is badass Palgin, thanks for the hard work.

Haven't seen any sources except original xevan-ccminer, but it has only cpu-hashing implemented, so writing from scratch basing on algo-description and existing opencl kernel. Anyway, there'll be a choice for BitSend miners. Haven't heard about lyra2z330, should look at it. But AMD miners will drown us all one day, will it be leaving ETH for other coins because of hashrate drop, or will it be leaving ETH after PoS, it will definetely be doom-day for all mining community for a long time, I suppose.  Wink
Anyway low speeds of reds on Signatum defended us from them here. With them everything would be much worse.
Lyra2z330 Zoin coin algo. Used to be CPU mining with 300-400Khash per pool till 3-4 days ago. Now top miner makes 1.2Mhash. 10 i5 CPU make 7-8Khash. So you can count.

'll try to make CUDA xaven miner working tonight, but that's hot day and few beers can happen ;-P

The satoshi is currently the smallest unit of the bitcoin currency recorded on the block chain. It is a one hundred millionth of a single bitcoin (0.00000001 BTC). The unit has been named in collective homage to the original creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto

Try pointing different gpu platform, are you sure that you don't have integrated Nvidia video?

NVML monitoring......: Enabled

That's the issue, seems you've messed dependent libraries (for example, used cl.h from Nvidia toolkit rather than AMD-APP-SDK one) Try finding these broken dependencies, or it will be easier to make a fresh install and build from scratch if we're talking about mining host. If you use your host for work/home everyday use - chase dependencies and clean all nvidia traces from your system.
