Now the time
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

There is a sudden increase in Miners @ Suprnova and the difficulty just doubled.

Half of the earning are gone per hour
You are looking wrong place. Right now difficulty dropped and touched 9K. Now 11K. Still lower than 24H average 14.5K

yes its half now. last then a week ago i was getting about about 90-100 coins per hour, now only 1 week later am getting 49-50 as of this post AND i added a card to the system. sigt earnings are for sure 50% or more less then they were only a few days ago.
What was a week ago doesn't make any sense today. I mined with 2cards hundreds of Sigs per several hours at first day with that awful sgminer which was capable of achiving 8-9Mh on 1060. So what? Now the difficulty is lower than yesterday while 5 days to the first halvening And it is really strange - thats the point.

There was a time when there are only 4k Miners and the difficulty was just 8k and today it reached 15K max

ZPOOL and nemosminer can autoswitch mining to the most profitable coin, so I guess this does add up quite a bit too, especially if the coin price goes up and it becomes more profitable.

Just a note to let people know that hashbag (yiimp pool) was hacked recently and we lost a fair amount of SIGT coins which we cannot get back. I have had to remove the payments which could not be made due to the hacked funds not being there, as it was messing up the payments.

The hourly payments are back to normal, I have completely locked down the methods which were used to gain access and siphon the funds. We were not the only yiimp pool which was hacked, other pools lost much more than us.. but never the less I am not happy. I have the IP of the attacker who also used the same IP to hit other yiimp pools, hopefully we can make something of it.

total of 74209 SIGT stolen and transferred to these addresses

BPDfVHVfKawJsVyK9gjkZ8DNsYgMjZyEAh
BTAGK33fvjhmfUzpEZu6GZssGqWXxrhU9o

If anyone knows who these addresses belong to, please let me know. At this point it doesn't look like I can pay out the payments which I have backed up as I don't have 75K SIGT to cover the shortfall in balances. Profuse apologies to all those who were affected and curse these damn hackers.. as soon as I know anything about it I'll let you all know.

it has ...

tpruvot issued the fix on yiimp - and anyone using this code ( like hashbag and minertopia for example ) should have upgraded and patched the code ...

our pool is not affected ( or yet to be added to the op ) - as its not based on yiimp ...

but we feel for the pool owners that have been affected - as this is one of the sneakiest hacks from a hacker ... and simple too ...

if there is anything we can do to help - let us know ...

Make a backup of the wallet file. Also dont forget your password, it happens more often than you think. Then on a new pc get the wallet and place the wallet file in the signatum folder in /appdata/roaming.

rookie question..we dont have to backup the wallet after every deposit right? just after the first setup we backup the wallet file. then if we need to we can restore it and the coins will be there?

as long as you can restore the wallet - yes ...

either that - or rebuild your wallet using your private key - to rebuild the old wallet from the blockchain ...

but as mentioned earlier - IF you forget your password - or your wallet becomes corrupt - or you lose you private key ( if you dumped it in the first place ) - then ALL your coins will be lost to the network ... thats how coins are 'burned' ... placed in a wallet with no record of a private key - and the wallet destroyed ...

For most coins all you really need is a piece of paper with the recovery phrase/private key and PW if you had one

Remember there is a public ledger, the only way to lose those coins are to lose access to the wallet, or to have them sent somewhere else

So as long as you have access, no matter from what computer (this includes hackers), they can do whatever they want with those coins

edit - and no you only need to back it up once to answer your question directly.

edit 2 - answer above mine better

Yes. If i am correct and I may not be the wallet has about 100 addresses in it. So even if you grab another address it will still be backed up. But heres the thing im gonna go into some detail.

TLDR: No you dont need to make back up after every depesit to the SAME address.

For example. If you get an address from your wallet and use that for deposits then you just need to back up one time. Your transaction data isn't really stored in the wallet. The wallet holds the keys to the coins on the blockchain. So you never need to backup a wallet for every deposit.

Now I can not stress enough how important the SAME ADDRESS thing is. If you only ever deposit to one address and you made a backup of that wallet then you are golden. I suggest that you make a backup every single time you get a new address to receive inputs. Yes the coins will be there. Basically as far as I know every single coin is like this. Your wallet holds a set of keys which give them access to the funds assigned to them. No one else can do anything to funds assigned to your keys. Also again I know from experience DO NOT forget your wallet password. I know going full paranoid mode sounds good but don't be like my friend that has 90 bitcoins in a wallet he can't use because he forgot the password. So here is what I suggest. Backup your wallet to multiple places that are secure. You can even extract your privake keys directly and store those as well. Just make sure you don't loose that wallet. Many people will claim that using online storage is unsafe. Well yes thats true but crossing the street is also unsafe. So make sure you don't loose your wallet. and make sure your password isn't weak sauce.

While I was writing this two people made great post. Yes just all of that and this. Just don't misplace your wallet, keep multiple backups and if you really want to be as safe as possible get the private keys and write them down. GL
