I will have to disagree with you because I dont see us going back to what we have left in the ages neither do I see us picking the situation of stress over comfort. Me personally, I cannot even remember the last time I visited the cafe or business centre because everything I want to is via my smart phone be it banking or, document, transfer or receive bitcoins etc. Technology will rather improve to make life more easy rather than going back to the time of hardship.

I've been trying to get rid of my landline for years, but the internet provider requires it for the internet and whenever someone calls (usually my grandmother once a month), I can say that I get confused for a moment since we're never using that phone. They are absolutely not needed.

With the current trend in technology and the hype that people has over smartphone. All I can say is that the mass production of smartphones nowadays will have a very dynamic impact which affects the environment. Electronic waste will be generated as new technologies arrived. I think it is time that these companies should think about it and stop being greedy too much.

I agree with what you say, a tablet and a laptop especially a desktop could do alot of things a phone can't dk even faster. You could do business and communicate with others much faster and even more flexible. But you forget that other people don't do businesses at all. Some wants to travel or do sports. it will evolve and innovate further beyond expectations. Mobile communications is one of the
biggest life changing innovations in general. Nothing that prominent is gonna die out any time.
If people don't like smartphones, don't buy or use them it's that simple.

I think smartphones are just starting to improve their technology, so its on the rise. I don't think it will die in 10 years. What I am thinking is that it will be the most used device after a few year from now, and laptops or desktop computers can be extinct. A lot of desktop features are already installed in a smartphone. If they were able to fix the difference in performance between the two, I think smartphones will rule the tech world.
