Are you really going to release it without binaries?
you can mine @ the pool without the wallet, it'll just be hard to cash out and be payed out in pwr? That was a copy paste fail. its updated now.

Seriously though... you download the source -- which contains the QT source. At which point I would open QT Creator, and compile the --- wait for it --- "Windoze source"... or Linux -- if I am at the console.

I'll compile the windows client and put it up here..
Nothing against you, but people here are pretty paranoid about third party compiled wallets I know.. Thats the weird thing.. If OP puts it on, no problem.. If I put it on wooooooooooo, anyways, im on linux.. Just a courtesy on my end.. I would totally like if if you compiled Win Binary. I can scan it and run it in a VM so, I don't care. Would just be a nice service. you run in a VM, so why don't you run linux? is it so difficult to run qmake make instead of using windows? hopeless +1

Sent this PM to op about 12 hours ago, maybe he should have listened
"You should consider postponing its release, 24 hour notice isn't really enough when you haven't released much info about the currency. After you organize the thread contents listing all the info and the source code you should release it in 72 hours, this will generate some hype and also raise people confidence in it."

Dear anyone who thinks I'm going to premine this coin or give me an advantage at all:
I'm not going to mine a single block. I can't even mine a genesis block under a hour with the lowest difficulty I can make, so I resorted to not having the hash match the difficulty (but it's the genesis block, the client accepts it).
Thanks bro, I have learned I can trust everyone on the internet today!

No longer than an hour if he's doing it the right way.

OP should give himself some more time and make a new lauch time and announce it, and have everything ready, even windows binaries, else this will be a fail start imo.

start cgminer mining litecoin on any pool
put hackshards pool in cgminer
enable failover
switch to hackshards pool
cgminer automatically switches to litecoin mining, when hackshards pool opens cgminer will automatically switch back to his pool
profit???

At least the OP is on here, seemingly has morals, etc... Just get the windows binary ready, relaunch when you are ready. Already miles ahead of other altcoin launches because you appear to have a conscience. MMk.

OP is a *nix enthusiast who can't figure out how to compile a windows binary. Hilarious.
To be fair, most Unix enthusiasts genuinely can't figure this out, and eventually just give up. (Or use cygwin, which amounts to pretty much the same thing.) --Tom

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th. The Attorney: I would advise you do that. Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor? The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law. 19GpqFsNGP8jS941YYZZjmCSrHwvX3QjiC
